Hi all,

Blumeanie here. Hope to be able to share some info and stats after my group gets going.

Right now we are completely stumped on how to make/build a pool. Any help would be extremely appreciated. As well as paying for the time spent in helping.

Hope someone out there can help us.

Thank you.

Had a btctalk account for almost a month and finally getting around to moving above newbie status!  Discovered bitcoin in 2011 and rediscovered them in 2013.  It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World....

Now this is a mega-thread...  Shocked

Anyway, I'm Stuart, I'm a "slasher" (writer/programmer/photographer/slash/slash/slash...). I have books on the market (yes, you can go into a major book store and request one of my books, although they won't have it in stock), and so far I have one book up on CoinDL for purchase with BTC. I've been collecting some micropayments to have something to experiment & learn with, and now I'm ready to do more, so I figured it was time to sign up here. (Have "lurked" via Google searches plenty.) I'm one of the many who got burned by the Instawallet fiasco, although my balance was tiny so it doesn't hurt me like some people who trusted(?!) the site more.

Hello all.  Only a few months into Bitcoin (and Litecoin) and this is quite a ride so far!  I love the philosophy behind it though so am in it for the long haul.

If anyone is looking for pyramining referral links, here are a couple:   Wink

Anyway, let's see where this goes. Yes it's highly speculative but it's fun too - and it has our criminal governments and bankers worried so it can't be such a bad thing.

I'm A_Pickle.

Apart from being a salty vegetable concoction, I'm a thoroughly Libertarian-minded fellow with a mind for computers.  I like computers.  I like guns.  I like doing things, but I get very easily pissed off by arbitrary limits (you can only withdraw $300 on THIS type of account, sir) and things that shouldn't be a problem (Oh yes, you deposited your numbers three days ago but they're still not in your account yet because it's all pending).

So I'm a fan of BTC/LTC, and I think these currencies will co-exist with fiat currencies for quite some time.  Will they replace the fiats?  I doubt that the stewards of fiat currencies will allow their cash cows to die, because without fiat currencies you lose the ability to fund the nation-state.  As I don't expect those in power to relinquish that power peacefully or willingly, I'd say the wisest course of action is to make cryptocurrency a valid "investment" that plays nice with fiat currencies for as long as it has to.  If, and I should really say when, cryptocurrency becomes mainstream (think Facebook, iPhone, centralized online banking)... I feel very strongly that we will see a surge of individual liberties.

Bitcoin is nuts, man, nuts.  I love it.

I found this place from ripple.  I first looked into bitcoins back when they were under $1.  I was trying to figure out how to convert USD into bitcoins but the process was very convoluted and scary.  I couldn't find anyone who could explain things in a simple way.  The information on how to do it seemed very guarded at that time.  A lot of people discouraged me from investing.  I wanted to invest $500 into bitcoins.  If I had done that, I'd be rich by now.  I'm very depressed about it and hoping to try to buy bitcoins now for whatever I can just to hang onto them for a few years and see what happens.

Hello, I'm Chases Wild Goose, a young adult human male currently residing in one of the more densely populated northern United States. I acquired my first BTCs to pay for shares on PirateMyFilm.com back when they were $5 a piece; I wish I'd kept more of them, now! It took me a bit to wrap my mind around the concept, but I'm bit now. Now the challenge is explaining bit to other people. It's been a great experience over all. Yet to meet another person in person who uses or even knows about BTC, but I'm looking forward to the day. Down with Hollywood as we know it! Down with copyright-mongers! Down with banksters & banking cartels! Long live the free spirit! Long live the BitChrist!

Hi there, I'm Jotzi from the Netherlands.
I'm still new to mining, bitcoins, namecoins and all other sort of coins, so this seems to be a great place to start learning! Smiley

Following the revolution silently last few years. Now its time to join this cool community. I have a lot knowledge to share with all of you. A very long but not a boring story from an ex-quant. BTW, I'm very very bullish on NMC.
