First, is this Provably Fair?

Why don't you guys read the FAQ before asking these kid of questions... Provably fair is for random number generated results, we are using a traditional style ball drawing using a jet powered ball mixing machine that meets the standards os the World Lottery Association

So your answer is that you can't prove that the draw is fair? You will, of course, have that ball mixing machine inspected, audited and certified, right?

I could design a lottery that used actual results from the powerball or mega millions, or even a local country lottery, and it would be provably fair.

Gee, you guys are relentless. You don't even give them a chance. Is it just because its a newbie account? Or do you really think that it is a scam? I mean they cant exactly scam me if im using free tickets so why not?

HAHA!! Exactly! Free tickets, you HAVE NOTHING TO lose! and if you have fun with the first drawing then you can come play as often as you like for less than the equivalent of 1 USD...   Thanks Gordoh !

It's just a really shitty site, major indicator of a scam.

If  they're legit I wanna see #bitcointalk on a pic next to their lottery machine in the next 24 hours.

That's a fair request. If everything is legit, then surely they can take a photo of their machine with #bitcointalk written next to it. That will put a few minds at ease. And it would help them promote the idea. Also, Perhaps revamp the website. You can get a web developer cheap nowadays. But I'm still hoping this site is legit, it could be really successful if done correctly.

haha fair enough, i will post a pic no problem...  and you guys really don't understand what we are going for here, WE WANT it to look simple and like it is designed for "kids" .  take a look at one of the most successful lotteries in the world, the California lottery....   http://www.calottery.com/   we based our off of their because they are extremely familiar to people and they are more successful than any online casino.. to those of us who are technologically advanced might look for a more "modern" feel...  But in 2 years Btc will be mainstream, my target demographic are the people who make the lottery thrive no awadays, the poor...
So you guys can sit there and think about developing some fancy site with all this complex stuff... you will confuse your average joe, but World Super Lotto, no we are straight forward and try and make it as EASY as possible...

holy shit i just read in that wall of text that you spent TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS on that site?!?

Your friends robbed you buddy. That site is garbage and I could get a freelancer to do better for $50

dude, your an idiot, you have no idea how complex the backend is, we have so many custom algorithms to automate everything... let's see if your "friend" (which you probably have no real ones, just all your little cyber buddies) can develop a system where the winning numbers can be entered and the system can instantly look through hundreds of thousands or even millions of ticekts and automatically find all the winners, and then pay them out exactly what they've won depending on the pot and how many other people got the same win (say 4 numbers out of 5)

Anyway MrPiggles, if you don't want to play, that's fine, can you please get out of my thread.

Place the jackpot in escrow and I will gladly buy a ticket.

Rusty why don't you take me up on my offer, and play for free?? Then you don't have to worry about losing  .001btc   if you are so concerned

It's a legit scam.

How can you jump to that conclusion without knowing ANYTHING about us, and what you beleive is your right, but we are NOT a scam and we intend to be around for a very long time. Recently someone in another thread asked me "Why trust you?"

Here is the best answer i could come up with:

Good question with no easy answer...  But I have a lot more to gain by running this lotto honestly and properly, with a good community and fun. If i were to try and scam the public, i suppose i could make a couple thousand dollars, or if i put tons  of time and sold tens of thousands of tickets maybe i could scam the for 5k maybe 10k ($USD)...
Now think about this... if we are selling that many tickets, think about how successful of a business it has become by then...   So why would i cash out with 10k or even 100k??    This business model has potential, if done correctly to be a huge world wide lotto with players all over the world and potential having jackpots with millions of dollars worth in btc...

The tickets are only  .001Btc... that's about 40 cents USD...  what do you have to lose? Are you really afraid of getting scammed out of a buck or two?

We have put thousands of man hours already into developing this site with an extremely complex back end. We have purchased a brand new lottery machine that was a few thousand dollars and shipped it to costa rica which was another thousand or so... The development of the website and back end was 10,000$ and that was because some friends helped. The promo commercial was 2000 to produce, legal fees to set up the corporation was another 2k, servers and monthly expenses are about 1200, we have had these monthly expenses for 2 moths already. So roughly over 20k invested already, and don't forget about the monthly expenses...  do you know how many tickets we would need to sell just to break even?!  We would need to sell 50,000 tickets just to break even, lol...   and then if it were to be a scam we would want to sell another 50k tickets to actually make money. So imagine now we have sold 100k tickets, do you think it would be wise to "scam" everyone and walk away from this project that we pored our hearts into for 6 months and another 6 months to sell 100k tickets? no it's not wise at all! you know why? Because a working business model like that could already be sold to a large gambling company for at least a couple million, but if we held it for a few more years and it became super popular, selling 100k+ tickets per drawing, so almost 1 million tickets per moth, then someone would probably buy the brand for tens or even hundreds of millions...
So again, WHY THE HELL would we scam for a few thousand dollars! this is insane.. LOL
We are going to be integrating a forum where our players can chat with each other, there will be a winners section where people can post their winnings and people can ask questions etc.

We are passionate about bringing a very honest lottery to the people, we want to be as transparent as possible. We are open to suggestions if you have them about anything that might be able to show trust more.

Time will tell, we will have live drawings twice per week and then you can go back and watch them as we will post them on our youtube channel. We are very proud of World Super Lotto and we do care about making this the best lottery in the world.
Please feel free to ask any more questions

And instead of saying something so ignorant, why don't you take us up on our offer for a coupon code for FREE tickets, so you can get the experience, we have a LIVE drawing on October 1st, it will be fun and exciting!
