With the introduction of mobile in this world many things have become easy to connect with one and other. I think the first mobile phone was invented in the year 1973 by Motorola (if i am not wrong). From that mobile phone has become very essential in our day today life. Now a days no one will forget to take their mobile along with them. The reason is we are living in a fast moving world where social life is centered around the mobile phones. Mobile phones are the No:1 culprit in damaging our social life and family life. People have started Texting instead of talking and visiting. There was also many debates which has happen if mobile phones are a boon or bane.
According to you, introduction of mobile phones is a boon or bane to the society???
It can be both, depending on the user, like any tool.
With proper use of tools, you can build yourself a house, and with those same tools, you can end up in the hospital if used incorrectly. For those without mental discipline, it's easy to get sucked into the addictive nature of a smartphone and repetitively needing updates or social recognition. But it can also be used to make your life more convenient, have access to the world's information, etc. Just depends what you use it for.
Actually yes, it can be both. I had my first mobile phone way back in 1995 it was a Motorola Microtac as far as I can remember. Well its serves a good purpose on my end, business and personal wise. But sometimes when I'm in a middle of a meeting then my phone rang. LOL. For some this is really annoying. One big negative impact of cellphone is that it has somewhat affect the dynamics of human contact. Some people may not know how to interact in real life anymore, preferring just to send text message of instant message.
However, there are advantages as well, like simple forgetting you shopping list and you are already in the grocery store. A call to your home can easily solved your problem. Cell phones add convenience to our lives. You can call anyone from virtually anywhere. Because mobile phones provide a constant avenue for communication.
