There is almost no invest able altcoins in the long term. You can gain profit from the short term investment but you need to get informed before everybody else. Altcoins come and go very fast. Pump - dump - then death. Only few altcoins can survive for a longer time. Dogecoin and Litecoin for example. These two altcoins maybe best for investment.

It depends on the continuous development of the coin. If there is active developers like Etheruem, it can be invested.

This is why BigUp is a great choice. BigUp stake rate was designed for long-term gain without putting too much pressure from an overabundance of coins

BigUp has been described as one of the best PoS coins to hold and stake

BigUp does have a premined amount of coins but those are being used for development of a long-term strategy to keep BigUp progressing indefinitely

This BigUp community is also very big and growing rapidly. Many developments and innovations for BigUp have come from the community so there is no dependence on any single person or entity

BigUp is unstoppable and invest-able... By design

Who can tell you 100 % sure in which coin to invest and make profit? We always come back on same thing in order someone to earn money someone need to lose it. So everyone wish to make some nice and easy money on trading but how?

I follow several threads here, couple trader's on Twitter and from time to time I check news around internet. If I like something I try it with amount I can afford to lose ( I'm amateur trader) and not to regret later.

In this moment I have several coins that I like and I have some coins from each: ETH, dash, ltc. We can talk a lot about this coins, but you need to inform your self good ( like I did) and make your own conclusions, don't trust nobody when you invest your money.

BigUp should definitely be on the list

BigUp was designed for long-term success. We have achieved many things with our growing community and much more is coming

BigUp price is low right now and on track for a nice and steady return based on value and stake rate

AND... The BigUp community is great!

Not to mention BigUp inspired you to create that account. Cheesy

Adzcoin still going cheap...get in before it rocketssss

Already profited on ETH

LISK still speculating

Lisk's chart is looking pretty good in YoBit. Too bad I didn't have enough BTC atm to trade some lisk. I bet an experienced trader can probably make money out of this price fluctuation.

I'm very surprised with FTC i thought this coin is long forgotten! This mean you can't lose money with alts,
if you dont sell under price. Just wait and someday it will be pumped.
FTC is almost dead yknow. The price is not increasing nor decreasing.

FTC owner is waiting for someone to sacrifice their FTC so there will be a pump.

If you read about it on this thread, don't buy it. These threads are magnets for pumpers.

If there are any good buys out there at all, it will be something that you find, not something that finds you.

So you are trying to say this is bad if we convince good old whales to pump an old cons that we have in old bags? Grin

yeah i sometimes miss these pumps too. and in case of fethercoin it was so interesting because i opened my bittrex account and in my wallet page i saw a it is the second one sorted by btc value then i realized i was holding some feather without knowing and the price has gone so high, so i immediately sold them and enjoyed the profit Cheesy

Some people here are posting their stocked alt coins in hopes that they could get a little minipump if someone gets interested with their coin. Guess what, you wouldn't get that minipump.

I would pick Gridcoin (GRC), as it is one of the more interesting coins out there.

Gridcoin (GRC) replaces mining with doing research for scientific projects, for example to cure Ebola (http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/research/oet1/overview.do), fold proteins (https://boinc.bakerlab.org/) or find aliens (http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/).

From a user's point of view, he simply has to run simulations from the different projects using the BOINC software (http://boinc.berkeley.edu/). Then the network comes to a consensus, who has contributed how much computing power to BOINC, which can bee seen for example here (http://www.gridresearchcorp.com/gridcoin/?result&t=CPID_Leaderboard). In some blocks this consenus is saved in the blockchain and the reward one gets when staking a block is proportional to how much research was recently done for BOINC by this researcher.

Setting it all up has been quite complicated in the past, but the pool on pool.gridcoin.co has made alle this easier and already has more than 800 active miners/researchers (http://pool.gridcoin.co/rankings)

I also has very active development, here is the main forum: https://cryptocointalk.com/forum/464-gridcoin-grc/
More information and tutorial to set it up here: www.gridcoin.us
If you are interested visit our IRC: https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.freenode.net:6667/#gridcoin

Which alt, according to you, is the a good investment and why?

i am not going to say any names and will only say the criteria i am looking for in a good altcoin for investment.

for me an altcoin that has a good future ahead of itself is a a good investment. a good altcoin must have a good developers team which are always available and they are always improving their project.

if the altcoin has some real world application for it then that would be a perk too.

also having a good trade volume always shows people's interest in the altcoin and proves it is worthy of investment.

Many old coins are coming back again and e can witness this through pumps on Bittrex. Do you even remember of NEOS? an i see this coin has risen almost 10x, this is fantastic for those old bagholders..
