It is doubtful of course now to invest in them. But this is purely my opinion.

My opinion may be that it is very unfavorable to do this, it's better to look at the situation for the next few weeks at the beginning of this year, hopefully there will be a change and a new passion.
I agree with you. I myself have not invested in ico. I now choose to trade coins in the top market than I have to invest in ico. unless you really find ico with very good quality and trustworthiness, you have the right to join and choose it.

I have several project with non ico project and their development was really good if you compare with ico project.

No, now is a bad time to invest in an ICO. It seems to me that in a falling market it is very dangerous and not profitable.

Investing in an ICO is a two-edged sword. You could lose out in a blink of an eye, or hit the jackpot overnight. It's a risk. Nobody knows for sure the ultimate fate. https://ternion.io/?utm_source=bitcointalk&utm_newbie=bounty

for now I don't think it should be because there are still a lot of garbage ICOs that will make you feel disadvantaged. so it's better to invest in coins that are sure to be on the market such as bitcoin and altcoin in my opinion

There are many tokens by others ICO projects, their value is reduced many times right after listing the floor. That's because the market is now really bad. Investors are no longer interested in ICO projects as before. In my opinion, if you want to invest in ICO now, you must learn very carefully about the project. It must be an extremely good project to be able to "survive" this period

It all depends upon your risk tolerance and hold time to see the returns. Top ranked and well-known coins are a safer bet.
it depends on the current situation. when the ICO becomes good enough in your opinion, then the investment might be good, especially when the ICO or the project really really suits you.

You need to have a long term investment horizon for investing in any ICOs in this bear market. Cannot expect quick gains upon listing on exchanges any more.

investment with ico for the moment requires great patience and confidence because of the many conditions of ico that end in fraud but I'm sure the kripton and ico currencies will be good

I am sure that there are still many ICOs that have good prospects and are promising so that we are worthy to invest, the most important thing is that we make sure that the project is right by investigating teams, reading whitepapers, social media and so on.

Its depend to the project if it the project is have great future in crypto why not. That's why its important that we study first the one ICO project that we want invest because if we don't do that theres a chance that our money will be lose.

On the one hand, this is a very good time to invest money in promising coins and projects, but on the other hand, the market is still so weak that the risk of losing your money remains quite high, I would not recommend investing your money without preliminary analysis whatever it is.

Yes. To invest on some ICO will be my foremost objective this year. I made a commitment to myself that i will have this intention become a reality by third quarter of the year. I think that by that time, crypto market have already recovered. Why?
By first quarter of 2019, the launch of the Bakkt Bitcoin (USD) Daily Futures Contract is expected.
At the same time, Ethereum network is scheduled to three radical protocol upgrades; Classic Vision, Ethereum Nowa and Constantinople Ethereum. However, cryptocurrency experts predict a period of Ethereum volatility after the changes are implemented.
Every upgrade/developments, brings risks to the table. But i intend to believe that these developments could help turn around the downward trend in crypto markets this year.

It seems to me that in the coming months the ICO market may change significantly, it may be replaced by the hybrid forms of project promotion, such as promotion through exchanges, or experts will come up with some other options that can partially replace ICO. Moreover, the work on this is now being actively pursued.

I think ICOs are essentially dead right now. Horrible capital structures make tokens not worth it. It is very rare to see an ICO perform well. Right now the HedgeTrade token is the only one that I have seen 500% return on.
It is correct to say that they are temporarily dead, because as soon as the market shows its strength and prices fly up, the ICO will again begin to grow by leaps and bounds, but it is not worth investing yet
I would be very happy if the ico market of companies could somehow control some law enforcement agencies, in order to avoid the development of fraud in this field of activity. In any case, Legal protection of cryptocurrency users would not hurt.

Since the development of MLM, Lending and the second half of last year, causing the price of Eth to rise and then leave a huge impact, Eth is drastically reduced. Not only that, the market Crytopia increasingly gloomy on no sign uptrend back. Some good  ICOs project is hard to keep the price after opening exchange in the market, even there are countless  ICO projects Scam, team DEV is not actively developing after the listing on the market. If still road live for ICO or not?

I think the majority of active ICO projects are now bad. I think the scam ICO projects have caused many investors to lose faith in ICO and so they are gradually unwilling to invest in ICO. We should wait for a new form of capital call, there is fairness and investors should be protected. Investing in ICO is now quite risky.
