It's possible he just lost all the money gambling. I was tracking his picks on his other thread using the method that other people who sell picks in the real world use, I tried to explain it to him but he couldn't get it, so I doubt he was betting that way.
From my conversations with him he had no clue about sports betting. the method I used was not complicated, and he was betting on heavy favorites in a way that no one with a clue would do, sort of like just rolling on a dice site at 80% chance to win or better and just hoping for the best.
He had no clue about money management, you shouldn't bet the same amount of money on a bet that pays out 1.16x your bet as a bet that pays out 2.02x your bet because one will win a LOT more often than the other.
If he had varied his betting to bet larger amounts on the bets he was more likely to win he would have been up, but he could have lost big if he wasn't.
tip for the people that lost money here, don't give people money to bet on sports on a site that has a limit of 1 btc per bet, because if he was really good at betting he wouldn't need your money to bet that small an amount.

Anyway, sorry to you guys that lost coins, but before you try something like this again, think it over for a bit.
People that are good at sports betting don't need your coins because they can win coins via betting. All this guys picks came from a site with a 1 btc max bet, so he couldn't really use your coins to make more money (which is at least plausible in some other scenarios).
He lied to you, but his plan never made sense even if he wasn't lying, so it's on you for getting robbed.

I'm still not very sure whether he will pay for all investors. If he can generate so much funds first place, he will not ask for people to send him money for betting. He will bet and keep all his profits with him.

He lasted 2 days and was 4-3 +.43 units. 1 unit had to be less than 1 bitcoin because 1 bitcoin was the max bet on all his bets and he was betting on heavy favorites, which means small payouts even if he bet the full bitcoin on them.
I am not sure how plausible his payout scheme here is, but just thought to give a heads up here. He picks big favorites, which are easy to pick but have small payouts, and 1 miss will take at least 3 wins to make up for, so just be careful.
