I think that everyone will tell you to invest in Bitcoin only as a hedge against 2024. Are you going to purchase other coins on your own? You can take the chance, but I doubt anyone will tell you to purchase a coin other than bitcoin right now. As far as we are aware, no solid crypto analysis is superior to bitcoin. Since you mentioned that the members are going above and beyond to help novices and newbies get started in the cryptocurrency world, you are correct. However, since they are aware that novices are not risk-takers, none of the members will encourage you to invest in any other coin than bitcoin.

Many people have been holding bitcoin for two, three, or four years, and they are content and worry-free because they think nothing will happen to bitcoin and they are waiting for a good chance to sell it. In my opinion, the price of bitcoin will start to rise gradually in 2024 and will then shock everyone by experiencing a bull run, making all coin holders happy. If we want to make profits, there are other shitcoins we can throw fee dollars into and make a killing if we're lucky but there's no guarantee that you won't lose your money unlike when you invest in Bitcoin and hodl. When investing, security should be as important as the profits and like the saying goes, make sure you don't lose when investing.

Look at it this way, you're a newbie with no knowledge and you obviously don't have what it takes to spot out a fake project. There are millions of fake altcoins in the market but there's only one Bitcoin. In your search for profitable projects to invest against 2024, you might end up investing in a fake project and lose of your funds. However, if you buy Bitcoin now and hodl, it will be more profitable as the price will go up after the Bitcoin halving and you will make good returns of your investment.

I know you get to know this forum either through someone or surfing some stuff about bitcoin and for that reason, I will advice you to take a deep dive into understanding bitcoin and buy the amount you can afford but make sure it's with the money you can afford to lose, don't use borrow funds or important money; by that I mean don't use money that you may wake up tomorrow and have one important thing to use the money for and borrowing funds might lead you to trouble because you don't know exactly when it will mature to profit.

I have also seen some suggested altcoins, I wouldn't advice you not to buy them but be ready for what comes next because as beautiful they are with given profit, they are not free from drama like the team running team dissolution, team selling and whales manipulation. These are just tips of altcoins problems, and the road great profit is not smooth, it's rough so be prepared. Shalom!

Hmm it's okay, but I will elaborate on it more. Besides Bitcoin, there are also many other coins(alt) that can give you a profit. But the point is that Bitcoin is the only decentralized currency that can give the authenticity of a secure zone and privacy, and I think this is the only key point that makes Bitcoin all the way above other cryptocurrency(Atcoin).

I mean to say that Bitcoin profit" is not an affirmation that only profiting is preferable, but Bitcoin is considered superior and unique conceptually because it guarantees you something that no one else gives and that guarantee of reliability or Trust that only Bitcoin can provide and is found in it.

Mr. OP, you may have forgotten that Bitcoin is the only coin that all crypto users trust. If you are suggesting an altcoin investment for 2024, I think it will not be good at all, but likely to suffer losses. I always like it when someone has an optimistic attitude about bitcoin. Of course bitcoin is better than altcoins in terms of security and decentralization - but there are some opinions that say: The riches are in altcoin. I don't completely agree with that opinion - but the calculations are probably correct.

If my calculations are correct - then I would probably make more profit on Ethereum with a $5000 budget assuming a purchase on October 19, 2020 and a sale on October 19, 2021 than $5000 on bitcoin for the same buy and sell dates. But what happened - I chose bitcoin because of its security and also people's trust in it, even if I didn't get a greater return than investing in altcoins.

I was very interestingly reading Op until he mentioned that ne needs a wall street expert that will recommend a coin for him to buy against 2024. OP, if that is what you want, you don't actually need this forum. Just go to YouTube you will see many influencers analyzing the crypto market and telling you coins to buy. They are many and there are also signal groups telling you coins they want to pump.

The forum is more of bitcoin believers and you as a newbie, I strongly advise you to stick with bitcoin until you are sure of your next move and you have really understood the market and how it works. Do not fall pray of scam coins.

If you have plenty of spare cash O.P please give it to me let me help you to keep it lols... , look around you many hardly invest money in any shit coin or lets say eth and btc as a whole due to what the market turns out to do when you dont and will never see it coming, so many prefer investing money they CAN AFFORD TO LOOSE that will never hurt them down to there kidney 

Investing in such shit coins, especially as hype projects, will only increase the risk of loss. because, we will only be victims of those who already understand the cycle, especially developers and their teams who can reap high profits. Thought other Crypto currencies might be promising and beneficial to others but the fact still remain BTC. So don't get confused of it.

There are many coins in the crypto industry, but seriously, the only coin I will advise you to invest in is Bitcoin, and that is the only coin that can minimize your risk in the crypto industry compared altcoins, which are pump and dump coins. So if you want to invest, I will fully suggest you invest in Bitcoin, because I also have some confidence in bitcoin from it past records that you will surely make some profits there, probably after some months halving occurred.
 
There are a few altcoins that have been doing great, but as a newbie, I will never advise you to invest in any one because I don't think you have the good knowledge to thoroughly do your own proper research on them to pick the one that may be a good investment in. But trust me, no altcoin can be used to compare Bitcoin, and that is why I ask you to invest in Bitcoin so that you have less worry about your crypto investment once you keep your bitcoin in a proper wallet, like a non-custodial wallets, where you have full control of your funds.
