for investment in bitcoin you don't have to compare from previous years all you have to see is when you want to buy bitcoin, when falling prices are the right time to buy as much as you can, year is not your benchmark to buy bitcoin when price falls.

I still hope for a better tomorrow, it is weird that price dropped right before the SEC decision and while BAKKT was getting 100+ million dollars in funding before a big launch.

I mean to my knowledge both of them are still not done yet which means there is still a chance of great news coming, if you are scared that price has dropped too much and it looks scary for now you are welcome to sell your coins and wait out the storm, in case of both of them not getting done the price could drop even further down and you will be safe from that.

I will take the risk and get some more with my next pay check this Friday and hope that with the upcoming news the price will instead go above 5 thousand dollars making me profit. Both cases of going down and up has a point and one can't tell the other wrong but its a risk we must take if we want profits.

For me it is the good time to buy more when the price is down. Althrough many say it is a risk but i don't listen with negative, i'm just follow what's best for my future.

Bitcoin still the best choice for people who believed and now, we have seen the low price of bitcoin which we might not see again in the future. It's your call to buy bitcoin now or wait for another dump but for me, as long as I can see a low price, I will make sure to buy bitcoin, and if the price can increase for a small price, I will sell it and waiting for the next dump. I know it's risky but worth to try because we have many times opportunity before and I am sure we still have more chance to buy and sell and make a profit.

Crypto is not a get rich quick platform, you must be patient enough to wait after investing.
It is a wise decision to invest in BTC, thou no one has being able to deduce specific time when the bull run will commence, it is wise to plan ahead.
and to wait for that there is no time limit and no one knows when the price will rise according to our wishes. need to be aware of this, so you will not be disappointed later. because the price may be below when we enter the market even though we have waited a long time

If you want to make long term(2-5 years) investment - bitcoin the best choice. But if you want to make short term investment you must look at fresh and undervalued blockchain projects which can make x10-x50 on the next bull run. Try to research teams, roadmap and possibility of projects like: PCHAIN, Fusion, Fantom, Eximchain, Aergo and others.

But make your own decisions. This is not financial advice.

Interesting projects if they fulfill their plans as described in the White paper. The big drawback - illiquid exchange, so you can lose money. It is better to invest in time-tested altcoins!

I've always been watching bitcoin since mid-2013 up to now, and the market/bubble is painfully toxic. I'm not a big investor or economist, and I probably still only have superficial knowledge on how the entire blockchain systems work.

I just patiently watch the graph, and keep telling myself not to invest because everyone tells me it's a giant bubble that will someday pop. Recently, I started to run a few side businesses dealing in Bitcoin as payment methods, but I've never stored it long term and always converted it to cash.

I remember back in 2014 when I first thought of investing in Bitcoin as a long-term investment, and obviously was pressured out of it because everyone kept thinking it was a bubble that was about to burst. I'm starting to think about it again now that Bitcoin is starting to crash - and generally speaking in the past it's done quite well after crashes, recovering and increasing every once in a while.

What do you guys think? Is it worth it to give it a try? This would be my second crypto investment, and I'd be throwing in $5-10,000 at most. Any ideas?
As far as I can see with your experienced in this crypto industry, you've been here for a years and yet as I observed you never learn here not even a single of it. No wondered why you've loss 5-10000$ sorry for this mate, no offense. Actually, in bitcoin world we always have a chance to gain in every exchange in the market. And there are also many ways for us to do it to earn here too, if You/We are doing the right things in this filed of business, whether the market is good or bad situation.

You are definitely right.
I need to add something. Please try to understand the real value of Bitcoin, the underlying technology, the revolution it's gonna make for everyone. Just fell how perfect it is, and you will have no doubts about its prosperous future.

I am bitcoin lover though we are almost the same in terms of knowledge I guess that is why when I have invested on it, I did actually fail. I didn't have much knowledge that  I thought you are just going to set down and relax and wait for your money to go up. On some occassions I left the bitcoin movements uncheck for sometime. And then with a sudden drop in value I lost almost 75% of my investments. It was a bit untimely when I decided to hold bitcoin. Later I realized the mistakes I did. And true as you say bitcoin is almost a big bubble. Yet what I learned was that I myself and those people who thinks simply about earning may have caused the bubble. It should be the case. Bitcoin was not intended to used that way to earn profit. It must be used regularly like a payment system in businesses to make it stable. In reality it isn't actually a bubble. If only people would use it wisely and when people would know how to use it in our daily activities. Too many are just holding it when prices goes low or and trading when high which results in a sudden drop of values thus creating the volatility. If only people would use it as a digital currency it is possible that bitcoin could go higher than the last all-time-high. So is it really worth investing? I would say yes but use it wisely like payments in a store you might want to establish or a payment for products you might want to sell online. You also need a plan because bitcoin is business. In this manner you can atleast help the entire bitcoin community.

if you want bitcoin investment in 2019 this seems like a very good step because the price of bitcoin in 2019 is very cheap and tends to go down, you can make a profit when the price has returned to the price of $20k again.
therefore from now on it is a very good time to invest in bitcoin because to get a big profit it's easy when you want to be patient waiting for the right time to make a sale

Don't forget to tell them to get out with profit BEFORE they go for the mega dump.
So grab 20x your money and get the hell out even if you could get 50x. All shitcoins go to shit Smiley

Why not? It's never too late to start up with bitcoin investment even this 2019. As long as you are capable of holding your assets then rest assured that can do some profit from it. It's still the best time to buy bitcoin because we still in bear market and the price is still not increasing as we are expecting the next bull run this year. So, invest while it's cheap and enjoy the profit later.

Bitcoin halving is coming in May 2020
Pump will begin before that
So you can still wait and enter a little after or buy now

You can expect some dump after SEC will reject ETF not so much chance for ETF be approved
There is shutdown in USA so Bakkt approval is frozen
I don't think  bitcoin can fail much more because with that energy rising costs even big miners can have problems
For sure you will see more news about bitcoin going below 3k but that kind of news are produced to buy btc at low price

So all together it is good time i think but it is investment for over one year

Yes, bitcoin is worth investing.

+1

- Bitcoin will always deflate. Become worth more.
- The exponential curve shows it hitting $100k per coin within 3 years.

in fact, the price of bitcoin has been quite stable since the end of last year. well, there hasn't been a significant increase or decrease. I think investing now will produce unstable results. I can only suggest getting ready to face the risk when the bitcoin price drops. however, it will be profitable for you when the price rises.
