It's a right decision and should consider investing only on trusted sites even though earning % are less and must remember to diversify your investment into few good sites rather keeping everything in single or two sites because diversifying will reduce your losses in the longer term.

I don't know what you mean but if you are talking about investing to casinos, you are also risking but you are not gambling because you are an investor to this company. Although there comes a time that you will be on a negative profit when some players will be very lucky or there are lucky whales playing with very big bankroll.

you can watch the casino and when there is dip in their profit and then invest right away after that dip to enjoy the uprise.

That is really a risk when you decide to invest even to famous and credible casino sites. There are really comes a time that through to some very personal reasons, the people behind the casino sites may sacrifice its reputation and run the existing bankroll of their sites. This may happen but not really that easy.
