If you want to invest short-term you can start buying altcoin that you believe best, because by investing in ICO, it takes a long time. It may take 2-5 months for you to get a good profit

Best solution for smart cities
not all ico can give a profit, even for the return of capital is also difficult. the market is also being damaged and we can also see that a product launch or update can not make growth and raise the price of its coin in the market. so this sometimes confuses investors.

Gone those days when short term investment could earn you instant ROI and profit of x2 - x5. People learned alot from experiences and loses. Some money gone in marketcap , and market is in bear mood. So I guess short term investment not so profitable this days, go long term

If you are interested in short-term investments, I suggest you do not invest in ICO, because we know that a project will go through development. And that takes a long time. So it would be better if you do trading with scalping system

I do not recommend to invest in icos . Most of them are startups with no experience in business and they always fail . First factor that you are in lose yes you are right the bearish market.
Second factor is the experience

There is no doubt that something changed in the cryptomarket, and the ICO aren't a source of quick profits anymore. Last year, whoever invested in ICO even not of the best quality, would see hundreds of percent of profits in a couple of months. I admit, I invested in 3 ICO at the beginning of this year, the projects I believed in, and right now I am in huge losses on those investments. Is it only because of the bad bearish market, or the terms changed? What do you think? Undecided Huh
I think that depends on the potential of the ico project. Currently the market conditions are weakening, and become very risky investment in ico project. However, if the project is good and potentially will not be a problem, it just takes a long time to make a profit. So, now ico investment tends to be suitable for long-term investment.

I will not recommend investing into an ico at the current bearish market conditions as my personal experience is that tokens are dumped after listing in a bear trend if the market is good only then the ico tokens perform well after listing.

This is true, for those investors who are looking for a rich-quick scheme can't ride the hype with ICO's anymore. Last year was the golden age of it but this year it looks like it will be the near death of it.

I guess I was too late to the party, like always.

Too unfortunate for you that you are into a wrong ICO but why did you invested to those ICO's? are you only for the profit? if you didn't do some research about it then you better don't invest.

I don't feel it being a good "short-term" investment ever. If you want making a money on ICO you have to be into it from the beginning due to the highest bonuses/discounts. And then thy're always prolonging the ICO, taking a couple of months on counting everything so you won't see your tokens at least in a half of year and more. Don't seems to me as a short-term

We recommend buying in during the pre-sale's as this is when you have the greatest value for your money.

Don't take our word for it, just look at some of the scores we have received from rating websites!

Maybe at an earlier stage, see if you can get in on private placement or pre-ICO on one of the projects here, perhaps.

You can blame part of it on the downtrend we are experiencing in the crypto space from the beginning of this year. There seems to be a prolonged lack of confidence after the huge crash and I guess individual investors are weary about bringing in new money unless the institutional investors step in. During the bull run most of my ICO investments were very very valuable.

Also in addition there are too many ICO's out there, and you really need to do your research and figure out what is decent to invest in, when I say decent what I mean is a project which has a strong concept and a real business world use and not similar to any projects currently existing in the crypto space. However say even you find one it is extremely hard coz they seem to have offered most of their tokens to institutional investors and there is a huge rush among community to take part in the crowd-sale. Some ICO's use lottery and other mechanisms when they have too much of a community which is actually quite unfair since they first build the hype and then when that is achieved they look into ways to limit the number of contributors coz what is offered to the public is very low. There were few like this such as Ziliqa, Quarkchain and Zebi, they did a 10/15x pretty easily.

In conclusion yes overall things have changed in the ICO space and that will continue to be the case when crypto attracts more and more people.
