A better strategy would actually be to find a few good projects, maybe two or three which you are able to closely watch and monitor price movements. Best option is probably to research a project which is still in ICO phase and invest in that, if it works well, the returns will be much greater.
You're right, in-depth analysis is the key to success that your investment will not disappear and you will receive a high level of profit. Always analyze the capitalization and liquidity of projects / tokens.

You really did well by buying or allocating a larger portion of your funds to Bitcoin. For the aspect of altcoins, I think a good portion should go to Ethereum while you pick other three like Pundi X, BNB and BAT; these coins have good use cases and good chances of giving worthy returns. This is my own opinion.

With a $ 377 fund, I better use that fund to invest in the XRP TRX and BNB coins because many experts have instructed them.

Go for Ethereum, its the second cryptocurrency with potentials after bitcoin. You can also go for ripple, due mass adoption of the said cryptocurrency. EOS is a good blockchain and can also be considered. Exchanges like BNB shows a lot of potential too. The ball is in your court, choose wisely

Investing in a range of altcoins is a good idea, but if you plan to keep it for a long time, if you plan to invest short time or scalping, i would not recommend this because it will be confusing to track all

Most altcoins are already down, therefore investing for long term gains might make good meaning, except you invest in those that are not working.
At least, altcoins like Chainlink, Vechain, Binance coin have so far given good impressions about altcoins. If you can also identify the new ones with good prospects or possibility of growing in future, it might be more profitable than even the old ones.

With all these altcoins, how do you keep up with your portfolio without having to manually check each one?  Sure you have a portfolio management system.

as a newbie i found a hassle to manually checking every coin . i rather use a bot

from the remaining capital you want to use around $ 370 I think that is a reasonable amount if you want to invest in Altcoin. but I suggest you put your money into binance coins, why? because I think altcoin binance has great potential in the future. just imagine first about $ 1 and now $ 21 and this is a good price growth.

Why you are not investing any money in EOS? I have good feelings for EOS my self however there are many negative comments on EOS as well but decision is yours. If I am going to invest at any time I personally invest in EOS. The reason is low transaction fee and fast transactions (attracts the crypto user) I use mostly EOS instead of Bitcoins... Mentioned by my client and I was really impressed by EOS.

EOS is one of my favorite coins besides BNB Coin. I think the price of EOS has the potential to go up compared to current prices. In my opinion, EOS can be a competitor to ethereum and also traded in many large exchangers

Do you mean binance coin? I would never trust any exchange's coin. Yes EOS has potential but still it's his money and his decision to invest money into...

Ok guys so I have 500 CAD left to invest in altcoins, I decided to invest 3000 CAD in bitcoin and leave it like that. So for that 500 CAD (377 USD), please tell me if this makes sense. (I want to own a broad portfolio of multiple coins that have good odds for the future). All amounts are in USD for a total of $370. I'm open to suggestions.

50    Ethereum
50   Ripple
50   Binance Coin
30   Litecoin
20   Enjin
10   Iota
30   Cardano
20   Stellar Lumens
10   VeChain Thor
10   Pundi X
10   Basic Attention Token
10   Ontology
10   Zilliqua
30   Monero
?   Eos
10   Tron
?   Zcash
10   Icon
?   Chainlink
any other ?
10   Dash

I would have invested everything in Bitcoin and Ethereum 50/50. You need to seize the opportunity while these two coins make a profit. It's my opinion.

i would invest in 10 projects / coins and expect 2 out of 10 being profitable enough to cover all other losses. research will be necessary to make a proper decision.

I hate to break it to you mate but Chainlink is the only one which is going to survived in your portfolio also except Eth. If you have still not did well on your research, most of the main devs of the coins you hold has already left the project. Some left for good while some want to create another cash cow project made from hype so it's very disappointing. The others were just plain scam like tronconnect.

I think just $ 377 is too small to invest in plenty coins like these. I suggest you cut the number of coins down and invest in only 4 or 5 of them; probably ETH, BNB ICON and XRP.. If the capital is too small like this, making profit from small percentage rises becomes insignificant.

Good Idea for investment in multiple altcoins but you should invest in growing network not invest in all altcoins, there are some good and growing projects that are ETH, EOS, LTC, ADA, BNB and also should invest in BTC that is the best strategy for good investment. I suggest more you should increase investment in BTC portfolio in coming months because BTC price is very big growth in the future.

Having your own management system for portfolios is a difficult task. And having different platforms for each of them is more difficult to organize because you can miss them sometimes when the time of bullruns and alike. I suggest that you can use SmartBot Coin. This platform has many features to offer including trade bots and many more.
Visited the platform, and I guess it's way more pretty than I tested before. It has more edge on many trading platforms I've been.
