Well it depends if the person believes it's possible. You have to be really careful in choosing a coin to hold for a year. Imo, bitcoin and probably the top 10 alts in the market will have significant growth in value in thay time.

it seems that it will be very loss and you will not be able to maximize the trading or asset you have for that one year you should be able to grow the bitcoin that you have by utilizing the up and down movement of altcoin prices to be able to grow your bitcoin.

Yeah I know bitcoin is the best investment, but for a period of 1 year, prices cannot be ascertained higher than the previous year. for example this year, if you still want to invest in that period, then it's better to sell when the opportunity comes, don't wait 1 full year if you've found the right price then sell it

You can earn money if you investing today and hold it for 1 years possible to double upto times 5 I think your money. 1 year for me is maybe short term and long term . But remember it depends to the flow of the market if you get money or not. but mostly possible you can get money if you are willing to wait until the price go up.

For one year I would say yes if you have spare money, which you may lose in the case. However, in one year, if you will buy put on a physical wallet and forget about it for 1 year, then in my opinion that could be a winner.

One year seems a good waiting period but if you are able to extend it for another one more year then there will be plenty of chance to get your capital doubled. I am talking about the very least possibilities. Like many people here, I am also expecting a new ATH before end of this year. If that will be happening then you may not need to wait even for 6 months compared your concern of one year waiting.

I guess for both big and small investors, the current market situations are really a frustrating one as potential losses are always a big concern for any level of investors. But buying now at current price levels and waiting for one year will definitely make anyone richer as we all expect a new ATH by end of this year or at worst case a new ATH may happen by first quarter of 2019.

Many people will believe it is a good investment for a year but you should make your own decision. Don't rely on the figures of previous years, it was the past.

It is important how much you deposit for a year. you do not have to think if you invested a low number. ignore If you made a high deposit, you might be hurting at the moment.

it still depends on the trend of bitcoin. You can even earn huge profit without having to wait for 1 year if bitcoin totally pumped up by the end of this year. For me, I am still observing on the price of bitcoin, I am going to see first if it will pump in the Christmas season just like what happened last year then boom, easy profit.

There are a lot of cryptocurrency analyst who are expecting for the price of bitcoins to reach $50k dollars before the end of the year and it was possible because there are a lot of new country who are legalized to invest on cryptocurrency.

I think bitcoin in the future will be better, because the market will return to health and the price of bitcoin will increase. In the following year is enough time for crypto to increase its value.

It is not possible to say anything definitive yet. The time frame is just too small. It took over 2 years for bitcoin to fully recover after the mt.gox downfall. Now there is another downfall which has different causes but it is still a downfall under whatever name. In other words, in one year's timespan we may still be sliding down or trending sideways. We are just 3 months short of the December crash last year, and there might still be a lot of pain ahead till we see the light again.

So this market is not good for making decision.. I think also my investing time period is not enough for a profit. So anyway let's hope about rise up of BTC soon.. These days are very tired for traders. So I think there will be a great days soon. If there is a hard climb for a mountain there must be a incline after the peak... Cheesy

For me investing now is better done, but I did it for a few days for several months not for a year, because prices are decreasing, in my opinion this is the right time to invest, I hope that in the next 4 months prices will increase.
