I hope the new cards from the AMD can work better than their existing 390 cards and priced cheaper.

They may not be cheaper, but will definitely consume less power. They have smaller die size, 14 nm.

$20k is a lot of money. If you have not invested it, it is better to wait a month or two to get the latest more efficient cards.

So far, the information about the new efficient card from nVidia is not so encouraging. It is slower than expected.

Me and a friend of mine has made up plans[Managed funds]to start ethereum mining with at least $20k
Which Hardwares,Gpus would you suggest for us to build our rigs.
Also please provide your tips on mining as this is our first time,
and also suggestions on Ethereum,Mining, its future and sustainability

Wow! 20k is a lot of money  Cheesy

I would recommend AMD graphics cards e.g. R9 290x. Here is a mining guide for pool-minig: http://etherbasics.com/tutorials/ethereum-mining-pool-tutorial.html

It might help you.

Ethereum is not really profitable. You might never see your money back. A better option would be to buy coins which are PoS or creating Dash masternodes.

I've made 20 eth since March 10th,about .40 BTC,with 1 7970 & 1 380 4gig  Grin

Income has slowed a little, but I'll ROI my shiny new 380 in 1 more week,my 7970 paid for itself with BTC/LTC/DOGE/FTC mining almost 2 years ago  Wink

So,I have another PC just waitin for another vid card, maybe near the end of the month I'll get another one  Cool

same 22 ethereum 0.5 total or more because i've sold half at 0.027 and not at today price, but right now it's not profitable as before, diff too high, the diff peak is shooting to 3k soem times

The difficulty rise  resumes after a few days pause. It is 35T now. Most of us will not be profitable in a few months.

Is the number of Dash masternodes limited? If not limited and many people can create, then the profit is low.

Looks like I might be able to get a cheap used GPU in the near future  Smiley with all these GPUs hastily bought to mine ETH, which was an obvious bubble

If the price drops 20% and the difficulty rises 100%, most of the miners will not be profitable. The difficulty is rising too fast.

After Ethereum becomes not profitable, the GPUs will flood other profitable coins and make them not profitable.
Couldn't agree more. ETH is probably last gift for GPU miners, one last farewell before  GPU mining eventually die. Noobs should be very carefull with their investment.

same shit was said, when litecoin was still profitable and for jackpot coin and for the whole cryptoscene, guess what? we are here mining ethereum now, you really think this is the death of this section? the last resort?

another shitcoin will come next year guaranteed, just wait, and mine etheruem while it is still profitable

That is right. I sold most of my gears early last year. I started to buy and build new rigs now. I will keep them.

same thing mate, i will not sell mine anymore, there is much profit to be made here, even if there are long dead time, eventually profitable time will come, you need patience here, just like in trading

Bitcoiner since start, and continue to love it!
The best option is to buy a Ethereum mining contract:  Here
They have the best prices (better than Genesis and others)
You can buy Ethereum 10MH for just 315$  (valid 1 year, all costs included, no maintenance fee)
Also I can provide you a coupon to get a 10% discount this month (April)

That site is already non existent anymore...
It is working fine for me.

Now the money is free, and so the people will be
DONT do cloud mining or whatever, best you can do is rent hashrate on nicehash or other website.  IF you do decide to invest 20k (sigh) in video cards...well...just make sure you thought of the heat and electric situation.  3 high end cards keep my garage nice and warm, 8 would make it a tropical zone, temperate in winter.  imagine having 40....you would need to evacuate all that heat...its a problem.

I haven't seen any ether cloud mining that is not overpriced. It is much cheaper to just buy the hardware yourself.

Better to invest in buying the equipment yourself. I have started our farm from a single rig with 6 gpu's and now finishing up the second rig with 6 gpu's. The ROI will be about 4 months at current price give or take a month. We do it because well mining is addictive and fun. I started mining and got some friends involved and showed the the ROI so they invested in my project and I will continue to keep building the farm out. If ETH POW stops I will move onto another one and keep mining. As long as crpyto lives there will be mining and as long as BTC survives there will always be others to mine. Everything revolves around BTC. Unfortunately we all can't afford the HUGE mining farms to directly mine BTC as some of these other ones do but there is plenty out there to hash away at.
