This is really a serious issue and in this case, the money is gone and the stress in recovering, might be more than the amount needed to recover in terms of cost but at the same time its possible to recover it if the agreement you both signed given room for a party to indemnify another party then it can be enforced and if you have the financial resources to push it and the amount involved is large, then you push for it and you can recover such amount. I pity you my brother! You cannot get back what you have invested on that online site! Gambling it's risky for itself at first place and I wouldn't actualy call it investment. But if you do gambling and get into the situation that you have described it actualy depends on this site, how legal and honest it is and how it treats customers. If they are legitimate and responsible they should cover at least the part of your losses but otherwise you only have the legal battle which could be very long and the question is how it will end.
