Till now my biggest regrets is i bought antshare at 1$
and sold it at 2$.
If i could hold it till now i would have been rich now.
These type of things literally happens with everyone.
I think there is lot's of opportunity out there to recover these.

Maybe that time some of us would really think that bitcoin is a scam, enough reason for us not to get involve in the bitcoin world. But we're wrong. I regret that I just ignore my friends when they were talking about bitcoin a year ago. Hoping that as of now I'm already earning bitcoins. Nevertheless, I think it's not yet late and I'm happy that I'm already a bitcoin user and hoping that I can do investing soon.

So like most of us I wish I had had the time to notice bitcoin in its infant stages, I had the technical expertise and IT knowledge to mine when it came out but never knew it existed.

I wish while I did know about it that I had put the $3-600 down to buy one coin even last year. rather than slowly piecing together 1 coin right now.

is anyone in the same boat?

Well, when I came to know about Bitcoin for first time, it was dwelling around $300-400. But the media was itchy from always. 9 of 10 articles claim Bitcoin to be a bubble at that time and predicted its downfall very soon.
As being manipulated by these articles, I never cared to buy Bitcoin back then and regretted lot when it started surging beyond $1K from 2016.

I have regrets as you. I know to bitcoin in 2014 but in 2016 I learn about it then the price at around 700 $ / 1BTC. however I still have not invested in it, much later Bitcoin reached $ 2000 i invested in it. and now the bitcoin price is 59xx $. most of the people's are like to invest bitcoin. investing in Bitcoin never be late. If ignore Bitcoin today, next year you will regret it when the price is $10000

No one could have expected bitcoin to get to these prices in its earlier stages. If you made a gain just be thankful and keep it up.

I think pretty much everyone that didn't get in at those price ranges are having regrets. But does it matter right now? I don't think so. It's very very unlikely and next to impossible to go back to those $1000 or below price ranges. The only thing we can do right now is to hop on right in and just wait for more price rises. If we wait more longer we would once again regret it especially if prices go higher really soon.

Don't worry. $6000 is still pretty low.  Wink

We have our own regrets that we kept secret because we don't want people to hear and you don't want to tell them because you could be worth thousands or hundreds dollars by now. That's why sometimes this subject is really hard to discussed. LOL.

However, I agree with the poster above, we don't need to deal with or no more or rub it on our face. We can't bring back the past. What matters is how we cope up today and in the future. So we better get those precious bitcoin and not to wait a little longer so that we can all make a good profits.

From those of us that were here when bitcoins were 90 USD, yes, we are all in the same boat.  Undecided

No matter how many bitcoins your purchased when they were cheap, given what the price has done most sane folks probably wish they had purchased more. There was no way to anticipate all this growth. Tbh, I don't think its sustainable, but thats a different thread Wink

But there is hope. Bitcoin is the prototype; there are myriad other coins with the potential of bitcoin, if not more. The key to success with BTC was early adoption. Meta, this whole scene is still quite bleeding edge. Look for the next bitcoin Wink

I regret when I saw an article on net about the Winklevos that they were investing in Bitcoin and I totally ignored. Now in 2017 it I started to look at it. So let see if this hype goes on!

I've known about bitcoin for a few years, but I've only come to believe in its usefulness in probably
the past year and a half.  And what I regret is that I didn't buy a whole bunch back when I could
have bought it at $400 or so.  I mean really, I could have make like a 15X profit, and that's insane.

I don't trade altcoins, so no mistakes there.  I just regret that I've sold bitcoin in the past when
I obviously (in retrospect) should have held.  There are probably a LOT of people in the same boat
here.  Never expected bitcoin to be above $6000.   Sad

That is why we needed to see the whitepaper of the coin so that we can know if that coin is a shitcoin or not. Then if it isn't a shitcoin then go invest on that coin so that you won't regret in the future.

Well initially I'm at the same position as yours, back when I heard it I totally disregard and didn't thought that it will reached this kind of heights in just a few years. Even the start of this year, bitcoin is lower than $1000 I think so I can still go in but didn't do it. However, someone told me again about bitcoin that's why I decided to devout myself and totally forgot about the past because it will bother you like hell because you didn't invest early. That's why I just try to get bitcoin in small portions because I can't afford to get 1 full bitcoin now. But I guess we are still not late though, we can accumulate bitcoin overtime and just make it as a long term investment. Just move forward and look at the bright side of bitcoin. What opportunity it can bring to us in the future.

I'm also in the same boat because I heard about bitcoin in the year 2011 through paper which advertised a guy who want to sell bitcoin for $50 that time if can recollect. I was earning pretty money through work that time which make me have the thought of not wasting my time since I earn more than enough but the story change after I loose my job and I later step into bitcoin when it the price was at $800-900 range.

I think most would agree that not getting more involved with bitcoin a few years back is a big regret. Some of something is better than nothing I don't think many people now can buy a single bitcoin like you could of even 2 years ago. Some regrets now for most would be selling too early.

You can't regret it unless you actively considered buying in at the time and choose not to because it was too risky or it was a scam.

In another 7 years time you might regret not buying in right now.

When you hear people say Bitcoin to 10k next year, or to 50k in 3 years, or 100k in 7 years, what goes through your mind? Do you think, yeah right, wishful thinking those people are delusional?

Well if you do think that, then you would have thought no differently back when Bitcoin was sub $20. People back then were also saying Bitcoin is going to $100, $500, $1k, $5K, and so on, and just as many people thought they were delusional at the time as people do now when someone says Bitcoin to $100k.

So really, there is no need for regret. BTC is just as capable now of a 10 or 20x return in 5-7 years time as it was back then. It will probably take quite a few corrections along the way, but if anything Bitcoins prospect's are stronger now than they were then as it has already survived one rise and fall and proven it is resilient enough to come bouncing back.

Yes true! Same goes with me as well. When I started with bitcoin, the price of one bitcoin was at around 500 USD and I regret now why I didn't buy at that time. However, I didn't have that much money to put in to bitcoin that time. So I mostly regret about not buying ETH. I have seen ETH getting listed in the market and trading at 6 USD per ETH. But I was not very optimistic about it, so I didn't invest anything. Even though I had some money to invest which could have helped me to procure 20-30 ETH at that time. I would have been a rich man by today. That is the biggest investment regret I have that why I didn't buy ETH at the initial level even when I had money to invest.

Biggest regret would be selling @ $2900. I have my coins back when it was $200-$400 and accumulated over 10 btc during 2014. Patiently waited until $2900 and I thought that the bubble would be popped by then. Unfortunately I was wrong. Right after I sold most of my holdings, it immediately climbed to $3500, then to $4500 and the rest is history. Right now I'm still averaged @ $4000 and slowly buying again. This bullish trend is far from over.

Of course I could've wound up with 10-50x more BTC if I'd timed my moves perfectly, especially with alts. Also I could've wound up with nothing. It's pointless thinking that way.

You want real regret? Be one of the people reading this thread in 5-10 years. Sorry, suckas.

regret because nobody believes that bitcoin will be like this then i'm also very sorry to myself when in 2013 i did not buy and store bitcoin at the time and now we see a very high price so i miss the chance and i will not miss me t. I have a chance to buy bitcoin and then I invest the future because I'm sure bitcoin will get higher with a very fantastic price so we will benefit from bitcoin if we are not afraid of its kind. The stupid thing that makes us going to resell the bitcoin

My only regret is not starting a mining rig last November when profitability of graphic cards mining was at the roof. I only started in August which is very late to start with and the profitability is miserable. I am not making more than 65.000 satoshi daily from my 3 Ati Radeon Rx 480 cards.
