bitcoin is one of the world's juiciest prizes for hackers. there must be thousands or tens of thousands who've tried to break it, let alone governments and banks, and they all went away with their heads bowed.

this forum would not still exist if bitcoin had been cracked. if it is we'll sure as hell know about it.

I agree with you that Altcoins' price is now very volatile and the risk is much bigger than Bitcoin. In the case of bad market conditions, I suggest stop loss. Selecting Altcoins will increase your risk. Funds can be retained in Bitcoin because Bitcoin is an important factor affecting Altcoins.

This strategy might work in a few years. It means I don't think the miracle in 2017 won't always happen. You may not find the right time to sell in just a year. And if it is a few years, it might just be there. But, I personally prefer to keep other coins as well than making them into one.
Hey man, don't listen to the people yelling about FUD, some of them appear to be trolling in my opinion. My reading at 7.8k was that the volume was too low at that time, combined with a high sell pressure, so I sold and bought back at 6.9k. At that point I didn't want to risk anything since the purchase pressure and volume rose a bit. Then I purchased some more at 6.6k and now recently again after the last bounce. Good for you to have read the market properly, but it's definitely a hard read at times so don't expect everyone to arrive at the same conclusion. There will always be passion(TM) involved.

It appears that we have a decent rebound now towards 7k. While 6.7k might be tested a few times it looks like the purchase mood is pretty strong at the moment. Might see some 6.7k sideways action for a while.

Hey, guys. Today I thought about what would happen if I cease to diversify their risks, sell all altcoins. Leaving all in bitcoins and wait until the rest of my Deposit will not grow.

How can you say your deposit will not grow? Haven't you noticed that bitcoin's price had reached $20k last year? So it is not impossible to reach it again. It is only a matter of time and patience to see what bitcoin's price will reach.

Using same strategy year in year out may not always work with investment. Though hodling is good crypto investment strategy but a normal year cycle profit taking may not also always work perfectly. At least you must relate with the market news and respond when due.

Will I be able to earn more money for 2018 with this strategy? Huh

I already did so in the summer of 2017, leaving 60% of my Deposit in ETH for six months and did not regret it. I advise you to think about this strategy. Thank you all for your answers.

buying altcoins and bitcoin is NOT "diversification". Any competent investor will know that diversification is buying very different asset types - and ALL coins belong to the same asset class, crypto.

Anyone believing they are diversifying their risk by buying different coins are deluding themselves.

Diversify you investment, because if you concentrate on only one investment you may never make enough profits. What I mean is that buy other alt coins that has potentials such as ETH bitcoin cash and other ERC 20 tokens which tended to double or even triple it price within a short period.

buying altcoins is not really a diversification so when you sell all of your altcoins and go back to bitcoin you are not really using any strategies, you are instead fixing  a big mistake that you have made before!

if you are so interested in altcoins then learn how to trade and start making profit on your bitcoins by trading them.

Try Dollar-Cost averaging, this is one of the method I used for a long term invest for bitcoin. This is to monitor your investment easily because you can compute it averagely.

In my own opinion, bitcoin  may  consider as the best investment among other coins in cryptomarket. This make sense why it's called "King of cryptocurrency" because of it's features and the good systematic flow of this system. But for now, it is also better to have a diversity. It help us to have a some investment insurance and security. Maybe it's better to devide your investment in some other top coins in the market so in case whatever happens in the system of one coins you can move in to the other coins that you've invested. There's only a helping way to avoid you in a possible huge losses.

Currency fluctuation - The total cost of bitcoins in circulation and the number of companies using Bitcoin are still insignificant compared to what it can be.

Its fun watching it make crazy moves in the market and taking your balls to your throat when the prices jump from $1 to $19,000 and after sometime back to the $8K from $ 19,000. Lolz. You come to the market, put your hard earned money into it and then see such fluctuation so it is kind of fun and at the same time bitcoins wonderful roller coaster ride.

Truly I am mad at bitcoin and the way it works. Off course I can say that it has given me financial freedom and all the stuff but it is lot more interesting than that I guess. I have never been so happy to make transactions with it with so much simplicity and without knowing anyone that I am doing it.  Cheesy

If you just keep all your coins in bitcoin, you don't have any assurance that bitcoin will make you're profited, don't just put your coins into one coin. It is also better to spread it, or to make other coin investment, so even if bitcoin fail you to get profited, you still be able to gain in other coins and make the profit in some other way or in some other coins. Better to have some other option than no one will remain to you in the future.

It should be noted that the investment strategy in the market of crypto-currency is rather complicated. This is due to the fact that this market is young and is subject to many economic and political influences. An easy investment is to buy a crypto currency at a cheap price and sell it when the price is high. To feel these periods, you should know numerous economic and information factors.

using media like toys to make children easy to understand is an easy way to introduce basics about bitcoin. we can not force them to understand directly because it takes time to introduce them
