I don't know the specifics of the coin, but looking at its chart it seems to be in the same boat as a lot of other alts. So not dead, but as already stated, sort of crushed down due to btc.
And with most alts, if at a loss, perhaps it's best to just wait the storm out and hope for the best. On the plus side, it's not like IOST is alone -- almost all alts are down from their highs. Until btc stabilizes or alt season comes along, just the way it will be for a while.

It was going down anytime and this time it stays at 70 satoshi and IOST will be dead because it has no useful product. People are overrated with IOST but the fact that these days so many platforms are creating a similar configuration to be used in the same way. Even if that was having a lot of demand on its dapp and why the price was going down?
