It doesn't work for me, no matter what node I use. I use IOTA light wallet 2.3.1.
Since 2017 I'm trying to open the wallet to access my funds but allways see the message "could not connect to remote node". How can I access my funds now?

Download the current version 2.5.7
https://github.com/iotaledger/wallet/releases

As @dogebearman posted, you are using an outdated version that is not work properly anymore. Upgrade light wallet, or better, switch to Trinity wallet.

I installed the Trinity wallet, opened it with the old seed and it shows zero balances, why is that?

which node do you use?
i always connect with the node nodes.iota.cafe:443 and have no probs so far

In the afternoon, I made an iota transfer to Trinity and still didn't enter, can anyone help me? How long does it usually take?

If a node does not work just look up on Iota.dance. It shows a list of nodes including respective health, neighbors, version and milestones. Every of those parameters should be up to date. Then everything will work fine.

First step of a practical application in the real world of IoT devices in the automotive field, and beyond.

This week, the Darmstadt Germany-based security and identity management company accessec GmbH released its long awaited Car Wallet and PoS (Point of Sales) demonstrator.

I solved the problem. I was advised by the wallet developer to download the trinity wallet. And enter 81 characters into it. And wala - I got access to my coins thanks to the key.)

Great to read that you fixed the problem! That is why I recommend to always use Trinity Wallet Smiley It is the best and most user-friendly wallet for IOTA. And the seed import and generation is much more save as it is with web wallets and others.

Thank you for your attention. Yes, I used this function. I enter 81 characters. Here is a screenshot of the result.

Hello to all.
Faced such a problem in iotawebwallet:
Reinstalled the browser, there was a complete reset of the entrance to the wallet (my wallet is not displayed). Tried to recover. I enter the Name, sid, password - in the answer: please input a valid 81-trytes seed. Although there can be no error in the side - just copied and pasted from a notebook.
Please help. On the coin purse.

First of all, I would not use web wallets at all. It is better to use Trinity Wallet for IOTA.

Secondly, if you remove/reinstall your browser you used to access the web wallets, all saved states are usually removed as well, since they are stored in the browser cache or as cookies.

Have you used import function shown in this image by entering a wallet name (arbitrarily), your seed and a password optionally? If so, please check if your seed is exact 81 characters long. If your seed is shorter than 81 characters (as it was allowed at the early stage of IOTA) then fill up the missing characters with 9s. For example, if you seed is 78 characters long, then go like that ABC....XYZ999.
