ok i finally have claimed and donated.  Smiley
GUI looks really cool,
Everybody who still is hesitant, its really simple now, if i can do it you can too.

Yeah, honestly, it's about as simple as it can get.  It's rather refreshing, compared wallets like Nxt, Ethereum or Lisk!

If you claimed MONTHS ago(old IOTAs) then you MIGHT need to claim again

If you claimed few weeks ago you don't need to claim again...BUT...JUST IN CASE! :

DO DOUBLE CHECK AND TRY TO CLAIM NOW! AS WELL TEST OUR LOVELY GUI!!!

Have a nice week!

Cheers

P.S. @banano if you have a look in http://chat.iotatoken.com/channel/iotatesting  you will find what you need published by Dominik at 4.52pm  Wink this is matter about list of slavenodes

Please, download your ver of IOTA here: https://github.com/IOTAledger/iota-gui-beta/releases/tag/0.9.23-c and do claim your IOTAs by beautiful GUI!

Do not forget to do donation in IOTA's Foundation! This is very important for all IOTAs holders.

If he claimed MONTHS ago then he MIGHT need to claim again. We had claimed old IOTA in the old system - those did not count towards a claim now. So, depends when in the process the claim was made (unless I've misunderstood something).

I've been testing the new GUI for 48 hrs and I really like how it's working. Got 20 nodes going and 10+ are functioning/online. Good times ahead.

I am really like new ver of IOTA - have a look and test please:

https://github.com/IOTAledger/iota-gui-beta/releases/tag/0.9.23-c

Please! Claim your IOTAs before deadline!!!

Cheers

We have to claim IOTAs again?  Even though we already did this months ago?

OK, so I downloaded the client and am ready for nodes.  I guess we have to ask for them like this because nobody can publish a list.  Am I correct, or am I just repeating FUD?

I am just doing what this tutorial says:

A good tutorial for the GUI wallet to start with -  http://necropaz.github.io/IOTAtutorial.html

Please can I have node list of 7 nodes so I can claim my IOTAs for the second time and donate.

You don't need to claim again if you have already claimed your IOTAs

Would you be kind enough) to go to the http://chat.iotatoken.com/channel/iotatesting and you will find lovely list of 7nodes you need

Cheers

Iotachat has a slave node list. Add those and you will be good to go.

I collected 7 IP address and was online more than 24h.
If those nodes were offline you can't sync. The wallet could have a network condition indicator to make detecting that easier imo. Now you can go to the menu and see what your neighbor nodes are doing (i.e. do you get any packets back from them or not) and add more nodes to find online ones if needed.

You may not need 7 active nodes. My wallet got synced pretty quick with only two active nodes. You can see the syncing status from the "View Server Log" under the "Tools". For "Transacions to request = X / YYYY ( Z ms) ", as long as the YYYY is updating you are fine.

just a friendly reminder,

by making a decision to donate (>=5%) or not, everyone is technically casting a vote on your choice of direction (yes, it is your choice).
a choice to leave o remain Wink because noone is leaving anyone behind, it is only about you want to join us in making the iota foundation a reality and materialising the grand vision that is IOTA.

vote wisely Cheesy

I think a lot of people (me included) donated this week-end, so the % of donation will jump from 50% to a way greater number when the claims will be confirmed.

When is deadline? How to claim?

deadline = Thursday, but if you miss it you still can claim via direct contact to cfb/david. Per contract you have one year to claim.

Nice client.

I donated more than I promised.

Good luck with Foundation.

It seems that I didn't donate anything? Only one number in history and balance is 0. I collected 7 IP address and was online more than 24h.

it's due to the fact you used 0.9.23c which is a special version.
you will have to wait until Friday (or Saturday? not sure) in order to see your balance and donation. Don't worry many guys are I nthe same case.
