Hello everybody,
a friend of mine bought some IOTAs back in 2016 via the slack YDX team (Yassin was the guy's name who was in charge). For some reason he never really took care of transferring those IOTAs to a proper wallet after his first attempt failed. Does anybody know whether there's still a way to claim those coins?

You chose the bad day to buy if you are going to do so. Better to wait a bit for confirmations. All alts follow BTC and they crashed hard today, BTC can still go lower and crush ALTS with -50%. I would be careful right now

And still question: as I understand, the network for the present doesn't work in full. How the transaction is made? If I want to buy, I will have to send the BTC to the eskrou-agent and when and how I will receive the IOTA?

I'm really agreeing with you, IOTA is a very great crypto project, the current price according to coinmarketcap is 1.61 EUR with an increase of 12,46%. I am sure that this project will succeed more and this coin will be more valuable in the future, as you said, if anyone wants to make a good profit in the future, Investing in IOTA is a great choice.

In one time I lost significant part of my investment portfolio, so I feel personal disgust to IOTA. Can't recomend it also because of absence of blockchain
