lol! folks the 100% number is choosen just by chance, its not that anything "fails" just because we dont reach it. even with the amount at the moment the foundation most likely could work just fine. nevertheless its obv better to have it funded 100%.

I think David will make an official announcement regarding Foundation donations, "Big deal", etc. today. So Probably best to wait on that.

These basters should go to hell, never live forever.

It's childish to claim that IOTA will fail if a semi-arbitrary level of donations isn't reached. Over time, they will come in even if it's not hit RIGHT AT launch. People should donate, yes. But scare tactics never works.

1) it is my understanding that David is still processing many claims by hand (he said multiples of 10s to go)... that should help with the foundation numbers.

2) I think it might be time to allow BTC donations - I think this will get people to contribute additional funds.

I'm hopeful we will make it, there is still some time and there are still many claims to be made.
