The week is ending and I have not received any iota.  Sad
By the way, has the snapshot occured ?

No snapshot. If you want to follow along with the reclaim status, the first post here is aggregating what's been heard by IOTA people.

On the latest reclaim tool, it took less than 10 minutes to confirm/attach but is a bit temperamental.  Don't be afraid to stop it, swap nodes and try again.  I had to swap nodes via the options a couple times before it finally worked but when it did the process was very quick.  (And no the funds haven't been returned yet so everyone still has a 0 balance as of today I believe)

I bought some iota from slack in March and cashout to 1.0.5 wallet IIRC, balance never showed up. I Guess it was an old wallet. However balance is showing on the explorer, was told to wait some months

Started trying to get it back, stumbled upon the reclaim tool in some forum, and tried it. It seems very easy to mess up with the varying instructions and buggy process.

After about eight days of re-attaching the reclaim process with old/new seeds, about 24 hours ago I finally got a message:

"Proof transaction confirmed" -- Transaction hash -- "to complete the reclaim process, submit your old seed. Please wait for confirmation or re-attach i its taking too long"

sending... --- this has been going on 'sending' for over 24 hours now. I don't want to ruin over a weeks frustration by cacnelling anything, should I let it continue to run?

No, 6+ months to type in a handful set of transactions, he has time for that otherwise we have to face the facts there are vastly bigger problems with this project such as they can't or won't do it.

21 iota deposited on my claim adres, do i get them in my wallet with the snapshot? and do we receive our claim with the snapshot or after?

Nobodys knows. We are hoping to get the IOTAs after the snapshot is complete but it is not sure if David got time for that.

Is there a way to make sure that people on list 1 have done their claiming correctly?
one small mistake and you may loose everything :/

[edit] cfb told me to verify that I can have access to the adress provided during the KYC procedure. No other check to do on my side apparently
as he said earlier just send 1 miota to this adress to make sure you receive correctly.

I can imagine that when transactions are written in a snapshot they have an easy long term proof that they occurred. it's like a genesis.

I agree, it would be hard to justify not restoring people's money in this snapshot.  Everyone has jumped through so many hoops just to regain access to their funds.  The community is being incredibly patient because we all want the project to succeed.

Plus why the hell do you need a snapshot to make few transactions ? Wasn't the money in control of the iota foundation years ago already ?

As time goes, it becomes harder and harder to justify the wait.

So does anyone have an ETA for "list 1" or "list 2" funds to be returned to people?

I'm not sure if the recent announcement is referring to a soon-to-be "list 3".    A clear update would be really appreciated on what is going to happen.

E.g. Will list 1 & list 2 both get access to their funds in this snapshot currently scheduled next week?  Will the balances just appear in our wallets or is there anything else we need to do (reattaching addresses, more reclaims, etc)

This caught me unguarded. One of the worst experience. Great way to drive the price up and profit taking by taking possession of everyone's IOTA fund right around the partnership announcement.

Caught this on slack announcements. I don't think it has to do with the manual claims that required KYC but maybe that will get managed at the same time. Anyway, looks like the next snapshot will be next week.

I have not still received any iota.  My claim address just contains 20 iota resulting from a test transfer from bitfinex. I don't know the reason of this new delay: technical, legal, psychological or perhaps, as CFB wrote in a previous post, just the fact that David is very busy, which I can understand. However, probably as all other claimers, I feel a big frustration. Sad
