I read this article. Seems promising. Sometimes we should consider, we are only humans, and we should check, what we do or say. Sometimes is better to change the opinion, plan - as hold a wrong direction.

About the scam. I think, the net on the public isn't main-net. It is only a kind of test-net, a start-up net. If you starting later a real net - and the people in the original ICO will be considered as investors, with some stake,
I can't hold my opinion about the scam. If you gives this stake to the original investors also - then IOTA wasn't a scam, I think.

Scam is not morderated here so don't expect admin to do anything about it. It's your duty as a member to create a scam accusation with clear evidence and proof that a project is scam is you have been scammed or believe people are likely to be scammed.

What exactly is the point of this thread? Is it a scam accusation or just some other thread taking about weaknesses of a project?
If it's the later then i would suggest you would move this kind of thread to Altcoin discussion.

The real information about IOTA, as I read this article:

1.) the question in the IOTA AMA won't answered. The attack (not a byzantine attack, but only one (!) very simple attack, which one was already identified in IOTA AMA in early 2017) is remained possible.....
2.) and the REALITY also included. IOTA not a P2P system at this time as i.e. Bitcoin or Litecoin are P2P since the start of the network. IOTA is only an experiment, or a research. After some years of the start of the "REAL" IOTA network?

But IOTA is listed also in coinmarketcap.com......

I think, in the start of the REAL (and well P2P and well tested) IOTA network, we should start the REAL NET with the set of the (remained) investors,
from the last official snapshot before this coordinated REAL-SCAM IOTA network was started! We did the development real - through early investments in the ICO and investments to the IOTA Foundation.

Maybe we should do it - in a fork? IOTA Classic?

If you detected, I am a member of a project for IOTA, just consider a such project SCAM.

If you already got a such scam, please ask the team again, and if they don't deleted my photo - please post here the project and the details, what do you know already about the scam...
