Is Trust wallet on IOS devices now secured? There was a time ago when they said Trust wallet had a security issue on IOS device, somewhat of a back door security breach, I have interest in Iphone device but I am not sure if Trust wallet is now safe to use on iPhone.

In general, no mobile wallet can be synonymous with the word security. None at all. Of course, you will have a little more security than Android owners, because, in my opinion, this operating system is more vulnerable than iOS, but still keep your money in a mobile wallet is extremely not recommended, even if only because your phone can be stolen. If you use mobile wallet, it is only for some small payments, where cryptocurrency is the means of payment. NOT more than that.

A lot of users getting hacked is mainly because of their own fault. I don't know if there was a security issue with the wallet, but if you truly have a concern about a backdoor yet still want to use the closed-source Trust Wallet is where you are wrong.

Everyone won't know if there is any malicious code within the wallet itself since there is no source code. In fact, there is no reproducible wallet on iPhone[1].

Actually, when it comes to security issues, not only on the iPhone, Android or other devices are also vulnerable to security if they still store assets in some kind of application such as this trust wallet. However, the issues announced by the core trust wallet team may be more towards their internal security which is much different from the more complex android apps. In my opinion, we don't have to use trustwallet on iphone just before everything will announce it can be used safely. Maybe you can try some kind of trezor or some kind of hardware wallet.

Trust Wallet was once bought by the most popular exchange, Binance, so I think this wallet can be trusted. It has all the features you need, including a seed phrase that can be used to restore your wallet in any other multi-currency app. Another thing to note is that IOS apps are much safer than Androin because they are more thoroughly checked. I wouldn't doubt the security of Trust Wallet.

Nothing is safe when you use a mobile wallet to transact or store personal assets. Whether it's an iPhone or an Android, it's still not safe. What matters is how you manage and clean them to minimize risks. Above all, if you have a large number of assets, I recommend using a hardware wallet, as it will be safer to keep your assets on your phone and computer wallet.

You must not feel worry about that. If this was true and there would be so many complaints and bad reviews to the trust wallet for IOS. This time im not even seeing any bad review about that but i may see one or two comments that were saying bad about that but this is not a problem as majority of IOS users are agreed if trust wallet is still good and it doesn't have any problem. I think that you must not fallen into the fake news. The same news are also happening in another platform OS

I think trustwallet on android / iphone will be safe if you don't connect your wallet on a website that is not very clear where the source comes from. and so far I'm still safe for the balance in my trustwallet.
if you are unsure about using a trustwallet maybe you can use an exchange website you think you trust and order 2FA

Been using trust wallet on iphone 12 and  it seems like what they have said about trust wallet on iphone can be hacked is not true. Some IOS users have been giving their idea about what happened with their wallet by using trust wallet on their smartphone and you can take a conclusion if it's all safe. There are some rules for that. Never try to install any suspicious thing, never try to deal with any suspicious link, never try to visit suspicious website and im sure that your wallet will be safe. Just ignore any shit scam token that came to your wallet.
You must also aware about how to avoid dusting attack as well. These are the best rules that must be followed

I think it's still not safe to use a wallet on a cellphone, because it seems TrustWallet doesn't have a 2FA feature for transactions. but I'm an iphone user, which uses several wallets like TrustWallet, Metamask and Coinomi to access the wallet. so far my wallet is still safe, my recommendation is never to save a backup seed, private key on your iphone or icloud.  and don't use the same email as your apple id or iCloud when using the wallet app.
2FA on a crypto wallet is bad and can't be trusted, any wallet that has this feature is a custodial wallet, you probably need to do some research on custodial and non-custodial wallets, 2FA features is from a centralized entity you should understand what im referring to.

This has been a year since i were instally trust wallet in my phone. I have been also using several wallets in my phones and all of my wallets are working properly without any problems. I remember that sometime the hacker and scammer were only spreading fake news about that. You must be careful with any fake news. The main problem is in the user and it's not in the phone as users have full control over the wallet and how he/she can manage it to avoid any scam attempts that can come anytime.
As long as you are using your wallet for good and you will be fine.

Until now my sister is still using Trust Wallet in her iPhone just for holding a few coins like Ethereum and other altcoins. And yes, I don’t use public Wi-Fi to use my crypto wallets, exchanges, P2E, etc., as I only use my own mobile data. No matter if it’s Android or iOs, if we are not careful of the websites we connect and exposing our seed phrases and private keys, then we may kiss our assets bye2x.

No one is safe if they are using to used their mobile phones as crypto wallets, or at least for storing used amount. So regardless it's Iphone or Android phone, the risk is always there.

It's really up to use to have a good security hygiene if we are going to used our mobile phones. Rule of thumb is not to connect to any public wifi obviously.

Im using this and you must not believe with any rumour about that. In my opinion that if you can see that if so many IOS users are still using trust wallet and they are not facing any problem with it and me too. I think that you can try it by yourself. Im using IOS and MACOS, So far so good and i never encounter any problem with it. I do like how good the security of apple compared with android.

I use iOS device, and i use the trust wallet app on iphone, and i can say that the glitch, malware issues were simply rumours, or perhaps people falling to a phish email and getting hacked. I have never experienced such before since i started using ios devices. Remember that either you use a paper wallet, a ledger wallet, or you use mobile apps; your seed, your security, never lose them
I don't think so, there was a prove of some kind of a bad door exposing people's recovery seed, but later this issue was said to be fixed through an update, if you have been using Trust wallet at that time and your assets are saved just consider yourself lucky.

The security of iOS on any wallet on iPhone is not so good. I have heard from many iPhone users that TrustWallet is not safe for iPhone. If you use hardware then use it.

I'm echoing what @DeathAngel said.

Just recently, someone had his $650K worth of crypto wiped out from his Metamask wallet on iPhone. Apparently, the Metamask seed phrase was saved on iCloud service.

According to “Serpent”, the founder of a project called DAPE NFT, the contents of the user’s wallet were worth $650,000. He explained the hack in a separate Twitter thread, saying, “MetaMask actually saves your seed phrase file on your iCloud. The scammers requested a password reset for the victim's Apple ID. After receiving the 2FA code, they were able to take control over the Apple ID, and access iCloud which gave them access to the victim's MetaMask.

Here's what Metamask has to say:

If you have enabled iCloud backup for app data, this will include your password-encrypted MetaMask vault. If your password isn’t strong enough, and someone phishes your iCloud credentials, this can mean stolen funds.

^ It's a shame that the user have so much money but couldn't use a more secure wallet.

I know you're asking of a different wallet but it still the same brand of phone and also a mobile hot wallet.

Personally, I believe that any wallet can be hacked. And let it be iPhone or Android. And it's not about defense. And the point is how much money you have in your wallet. If there is a definitely large amount of funds in your wallet. Then you seriously need to think about your funds. So you need to cash out your funds as soon as possible. So you can safely use the Trust wallet.

Since you are not sure and trust iPhone why not get yourself a new android device store your currencies like the wallets already mentioned above. There have been lot cooking stories so to avert or being a victim go for hardware or paper wallet.
Everyone wants their funds to be secure and protected without security bridging.
