VouchForMe hosted October Ask Me Anything session on Reddit last Friday. For all who weren’t there here is a short recap.
Q: Will there be any detailed reports from conferences I see the team is all over the world in last month?
A: Our team members were attending events and conferences literally across the globe presenting VouchForMe. We are gathering our insights and will publish a full recap already this week.
Q: How many insurance companies are working with you at the moment?
A: As mentioned in our previous posts, we are currently in discussions with nine interested parties for possible business collaboration.
Q: Is Charlie Shrem advisor of the project now, is it not dangerous from future KYC if VouchForMe wants to work in the USA?
A: Charlie Shrem is enthusiastic about many different projects which are disrupting the existing business models. He recognized VouchForMe as one of these.
Q: When Moon?

Q: Will the pilot include the three products (2018) or do you plan to launch them separately?
We are developing one platform that will be used for different solutions. In the pilot, we will first focus on the insurance solution as we feel that focus is necessary to get an optimal product. After that subsequent versions will be released.
Q: In the UK, apartment rental deposits are a pain point the queen went as far as making a decree to limit security deposits. In 2019, rental (letting) deposits will be capped. This has landlords worried that many renters will simply avoid paying their last month’s rent and walk away from the deposit. Explain how Social Proof could help build tenant/landlord trust in such a scenario.
What VouchForMe does by collecting endorsements for tenants in the form of social proof, is guaranteeing to the landlord that his tenant is indeed a reliable renter. When a person is part of the VouchForMe platform it can be said he or she is more trustworthy.
Q: Last August, Lučka Čokl joined your team in the capacity of CMO. Can you tell us what the spear points of her marketing strategy are, and the execution thereof so far?
The entire VouchForMe team is concentrated on launching our product, so are Lučka’s efforts as well. We are working on the launch plan including communication and advertising strategies to onboard our first clients in our target markets on the level of B2C as well as B2B.
Q: How many partners do you currently have under NDA and when is the plan to disclose their names and scope of cooperation?
A: As mentioned earlier we are currently in discussions with nine different interested parties. Once the deals are finalized, and projects involving business partners are ready to be launched, we will be able to disclose the names and the scope of cooperation.
Q: When will I be able to u get insurance through the VouchForMe platform and how will customers be paying for insurance?
A: VouchForMe itself is not an insurance provider. An insurance carrier still does insurance. What VouchForMe will provide is the opportunity to lower the cost of the insurance premium with social proof.
