SD was the first one around and is a big name, I guess most of SD players even don't know other sites.
And SD is very easily accessible from blockchain.info.
Thats why even 'ScammerZhouTong' can't block the access of gambling in SD with his DDos. Oh hey, have you bribed him yet totoward

This is so suspicious it is not even funny.

I have a feeling these investments are flawed, but if they're legit I have officially lost faith in the Bitcoin community.

Why the HELL would anyone do an open-IPO when 'a friend' is pre-subscribed for 8.000 BTC? This 'IPO' is so full of scam/strange.

take care of your own labcoin, please.

Smiley

I even gave up my own site (towtoad.com), which means I have a great confidence on letsdice.com.

BTW, I won another 200+ from JD today. and will spread 100BTC, 1BTC to each of those who invest 10BTC on lestsdice.com.

Smiley wait me figure out a way to do this.

congrat!

Promise is promise, I will invest 10 BTC

Keep in mind out of the 5145 funding the IPO, 5100 BTC he is self-funding under an alias nakowa/cici/celeste

no, mine is 4500BTC.

however, if at the end of the day, funding is not up to 8000, I'll buy them up. Smiley

Towtoad, assuming you aren't the alter ego of the OP, why would you provide nearly all of the capital to fund the project (8000BTC) for only 16% ownership? There must be more to the story, no?

I think some of the ideas presented in the offering are novel and I'm interested to see how might they affect player behavior, but even if I knew the parties involved personally I don't see any justification for the proposed valuation.

Why did you even bother with an IPO if you were going to just take up the vast majority of ownership? Why not just seed the project privately?
Good point

What if the IPO won't successful 8 days later ,what would you guys do?

Hi David,

It's in the original post. If we do not raise at least 8,000 BTC by the termination date, we will refund all deposits.

I mean , will you find another way to finish this project?

Yes.

Your valuation is absurd.  Do you have any real world data (market research etc...) to support even a small fraction of what you're asking?

LetsDice.com will have a house edge of 1.98%

Why should players play at your site if there are several sites with 1% house egde?

Hi eltopo, we could have gone with a 1% house edge (which is what is set aside for investor gains and growing the site bankroll), but we decided to use the additional 0.98% to fund the jackpot and the referral program features.

If it really is 1.98% then your preview is broken even more.

At 1.98% edge, the payout at 49.5% win chance should be 1.98020202.

A payout of 1.97979798x (if you round, or 1.97979797x if you truncate) at those odds requires a 2% edge for that game. I know this is trivial stuff compared to the other issues people are mentioning, but...

Can you tell who constitute your team of developers ?

SD was the first one around and is a big name, I guess most of SD players even don't know other sites. You inevitably need players, they are your customers. With only a few players there'll be not much profit, not for the site and not for investors. I don't think you'll gain much attention from players with a nearly 2% house edge, but that's just my 2 satoshis.
