This equation is impossible to solve if you wouldnt cross the lines. as like vod said, when you add up 3 odd numbers the answer will be odd number
I tried it myself and found the same, 3 odds cant sum to a even number.

I have tried this before, and pretty sure it's impossible solve with only those number
well, I can't do this, 
()+()+()=30,fill the boxes with
1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15. You can repeat the numbers. GO !
