4k is a good option to buy for those who doubt, but not the best for those who can wait, we may see 5k soon and 3.5 as well.
Me personally waiting for the price to go below 4k to buy few satoshis or closer to 5k to sell.

But i will point out only one thing, that if you want long term investment than it is better for you, to buy the bitcoin right now.
Hahaha. Tha'ts true, we all know that bitcoin has a big potential that it will rise soon, higher than the amount today. Buy bitcoin now and it will surely increase in the future if you really want long term investment. Also you know that nobody know the price of bitcoin in future.

You can buy cheaper bitcoin durig that time.
Yes I think it's right $4000 is the good price to buy bitcoin, because it's looked like bitcoin value were reach $5000 - $7000 this year. However it's depends to the owners if they were buy bitcoin or not. But I suggest to buy bitcoin now before it's too late. 
Bitcoin is never so expensive IMHO. Ask them who bought it at 1k in 2k14 and saw a 75% dump. Many might have sold off under the fear that bitcoin may die, others who still hold their coins are now enjoying a 500% profit over their investment. Never think that your buy price may not get touched once they dump because bitcoin always get a kick after being dumped hard and that kick throws it off hard above some extreme levels.
Well i think indeed that's a very right figure to buy, as we've seen lately bitcoin price keeps above $4000 and seems it will keep moving up and it's not possible to fall below $4000 i guess. Well so i think your decision is rightly and same with me like as what i think.

In fact, the level of 4000 dollars is a very good level to make buy, but people who end up getting negative news can be harmed. Let's not forget that it fell to the level of $ 3200. It's entirely up to you to look forward to it.

In other words you can buy it if you are not gonna trade it for next 2 years $4000 is quite high to buy and as people say bitcoin is volatile but the result matters even thing bitcoin is volatile but after every price dip bitcoin comes back stronger and hits new heights so if someone is planning to haul it for long time then they can buy but if it is for trading then you need to wait for a price fall.
I don't think we should have a bench in buying bitcoin and you should study the market to buy at a very low price and sell at the higher price. This is the cycle of the market and you should not just invest without any adequate knowledge on how the trade work. I also think we need to buy now more than sell as in long time price will go up in high velocity more than expected. However now is still the best time to buy bitcoin.

Now the september segwit has passed and left behind a lesson for small traders.Perhaps the another fork of bitcoin gold is being happen on octobee 25th, it would be a call for us to take part in competition.

Wow you are right in predicting bitcoin's value dropped in september due to the fact china banned bitcoin exchanges in their country and also, the trading halt of BTCC bitcoin exchange. well in myown opinion you should buy bitcoin when during the dip or price crash because the price can go up very fast thus, giving you more profit and also if you bought bitcoin in the state of all time high, the risks of losing money is pretty high. 
because if China banned bitcoin, bitcoin was fall down around 3000$ and today finally the price of bitcoin is around 4090$ without china. so i think bitcoin will raise up more and more without any problem in this year 2017. so buying bitcoin at 4000$ is risk free i think....

Bicoin is lower than $4000 , the best time to buy because maybe by the end of oct bitcoin will increase again into $4000.Look at the price buddy, bitcoin is already past $4000 and it's holding nicely on around $4100. Bitfinex got past $4100, Bitstamp hit $4100 exactly, which is funny considering that was the price to beat, but generally if one of the big exchanges breaks the price, the psychologically is that we officially broke the resistance. I would like to see an higher sustained price for a while to feel safer, let's see what happens in the next 4 hours which are key. But like i said, I would buy any corrections because the resistance was broken in most books.
