You know they say, don't chase the bulls. If you buy bsv now, you will most likely lose the profits that eth could give and might become the victim of dump in coin you bought .

Btw, eth is up from $140ish to $170 since you posted this thread.

I don't know what happened with the Ethereum, why this coin's price is not growing that much? Without Bitcoin pumping, Ethereum can't grow a bit. Where BCH or even BSV price keeps pumping like the bull run! Now, 1 BSV coin's price is more than double of 1 Ethereum. I am a holder of Etherem, but day by day I am being frustrated by holding it, it's price is far lower than 200 USD! Unbelievable. What do you think guys? Should I convert my ETH into BSV or BCH for more profit?

It's because ETH has competitions today as compare to 2017. And then we have projects dumping their ETH as well. As far as BCH or BSV, pretty obvious mate, pump and dump with some shady person behind it. So it's just an artificial pump, of course it looks good in paper, but in the long run, it will just fall back, even worst before the pump.

Just continue to hold on your ETH, still one of the best altcoin out there. Just be accustomed to the worsening market conditions but it won't last long, we have the bitcoin block halving, the effect might has a domino effect to the alt market this year, so ETH might get pump.
None of ETH competitors you which i also agreed are increase in number than the year mentioned was able hinder ETH from experiencing surge in price nor able to theive than ETH.
@hirngespenst, what i understand is that before the bullish market of altcoin happen, bitcoin market  usually lead for some weeks before investors gain strong confidence in the market which will lead to huge traffic and altcoin bullish market. Therefore any altcoin that make any pump before the investors confidence about the market come confirmed is definitely bull trap.

If you want to win the race in crypto wold you should have patience it is a main key for get successful in crypto market otherwise you will loose your hope here once you change the mind. it is my experiences in crypto market and you have to understated the current situation on going in crypto market and take a decision,. because the eth coin will be going to predominance very well in coming days once eth 2.0 active it will give you more than what you expecting now. so holding your eth util reach your target, do not thing if other coins price hike also.

This is really a question without any base. ETH is now 2nd market cap coin + they have some real use cases. Where's the use of BCH and BSV? Nothing almost. How can you expect it to be more profitable? You have to calculate the risk both these coin have also. Only high price isn't the indicator of more profit.
In my opinion, the product is an important key in the long term continuity of a coin. I don't think that a coin without product will only excel for a moment. although eth is reduced demand is not like the time of ico season, but the quality is still needed, proved to still rank second in cryptocurrency

And because the pump of BSV has been stop already, now they are facing a continues drop while the top 4 are going upward the BSV is going downward. This is what will happen if the greediness of the project will reach a new level just to overtake the other coins. If they didn't hype BSV, I am sure it will continue to goes upward swing also together with the top 4 (BTC,Ethereum,XRP and BCH).

Here is the current situation (Jan 18) because of their failure hype : BTC = +1.92%, ETH = +3.98%,XRP = +3.25%, BCH = +15.48% and BSV = -10.25% . It is very clear on what to invest that you will surely profit.

it's better that you keep hold your ethereum for now because if you convert it into BCH or BSV possible the price can go dump anytime. It is not perfect time to convert those coins, you will lose your money for sure.
Agree, I also still hold ETH. Even though the price hasn't increased like BSV, It's only a matter of time for Ethereum to be able to Pump like BSV. I see that the price of ETH always follows the price of Bitcoin, so now the price of Bitcoin is only up a few percent, ETH also like that, up only a few percent. But believe me, if later Bitcoin is Pumped, ETH will Pump too.

Ethereum already had its pump, many years back (when the ICO sector was at its peak). If you check the charts, you may find that ETH is the second largest cryptocurrency in terms of market capitalization ($19 billion). So there is limited room for growth, unless the developers come with some new innovation. On the other hand, the market caps for BCH and BSV are much lower ($7 billion and $5 billion respectively) and therefore they have room for additional growth in the coming months. Also, these two currencies are supported by industry heavyweights (Roger Ver, Jihan Wu.etc in case of BCH and Craig Wright, Calvin Ayre.etc in case of BSV).

The profitability of investing in any altcoin whether Ethereum or Bitcoin Cash all depends on the investment plan and strategies you have as a cryptocurrency investor.  With a good investment plan and strategy, a small change or increase in the market value of any altcoin you invest in can produce a good amount of profit no matter the altcoin you are investing in. Its all about the investment plan and strategy not the coin you are investing in.

I love how the people who "support" BSV have absolutely no mathematics at all when they are trying to support the coin. Dude ethereum has much more coins printed, it has a marketcap that is over 3 times the size of BSV right now, maybe BSV had a huge pump and reached the 4th spot and kudos to you guys for that (lets see where it will be in a month) but trying to say that ethereums price is half the price of BSV is literally what a person who has no idea what "market cap" means.

The price of BSV is already down %10 in the past 24 hours, it will probably keep on going down for a long time as well until it reaches what it used to be , whereas ethereum has been steadily the top 3 coin for the past 3+ years without anyone ever moving it from its place and been 2nd biggest coin for over a year as well. If you want to promote BSV, pick a different rival because Ethereum would crush BSV in every single possible way.

I have noticed the motion for Ethereum and I think you're just comparing the pump of those forks to Ethereum. I can feel your disappointment about it but looks like your not patient anymore holding Ethereum. You can sell it for bitcoin but I don't think it's a good idea converting it to any of the forks. This is just my friendly advice, if you're feeling bad because you see these forks pumping, it wouldn't take that long and they will start to plummet soon.

The price of ETH cannot rise because there is not any specific news to help Fomo investors. The ICO is dead and it made the demand for ETH significantly decrease, in 2017 ETH achieved ATH because it was the best period of the ICO. Perhaps ETH price will not rise too high in the future, you can optionally convert to BCH if you want. But you should not switch to BSV because this is an altcoin scam and it will quickly crash in the near future

eth is just having a healthy price growth base on it's use case, while bch and bsv on the other hand i can't really tell their actual use case (if they have any) neither can i say for certain what drives the price of this coin, although we know the supply is small compare to eth, but then anytime there is a price hike, you will find this coin doing far more better than most other coin, that makes me want to buy them,
actually, as an eth holder, it is not very pleasing to see this 2 coins constantly out performing eth when it comes to price Sad

Ethereum market has been very under performing. This is partly due to the fact that ICO now use IEO as a means of fund raising and hence has various alternative means of raising fund not just limited to Ethereum only. and most projects that used the ethereum platform for fund raising are almost dead a project in price. Ethereum has many competitors. As for BSV, what we saw is a pumping by Wright and his disciples, such is not to be trusted.

You would probably lose the money you earn with such an increase in such a fall. This kind of pump-dump schemes are no different from gambling. It is certainly not worth regretting it, and you will feel better in the future because you do not allow this bullshit. Keep holding the eth, soon it will bring you the profit as you want.
It's hard to decide since you are also possible to suffer being trapped inside this coin, it's much better to hold coin where you fully understand
the system and the full development of the project.
Placing your investment needs to be analyzed well and make sure you are willing to take the risk in case you see some downwards movement.

It's your call if you think that this pump will have an impact on your decision, then go sell your Rth and move all your funds in Bitcoin SV, in my case I prefer to be positive you should not compare these top coins but might as well include it to your portfolio, there are coins that deliver on given day and some on another time.
Yes it is true, if he thinks the coin is good and can be profitable then I think investing into BSV is a good choice for him. But for me personally, when I see that there are good coins to invest, I will choose to buy them and not compare them with others because here I am looking for opportunities to be able to make a profit from several coins and if we only compare without taking steps, we will not get anything. .

Etherium is a solid project. BSV is a shit coin claiming to be the real bch which claims to be the real bitcoin or whatever. Yes, in the short term you can probably make much bigger gains with BCH and/or BSV, by day trading and swinging. Just the fact you asking this questions indicates to me that are more the hodler type of kind so if I was in your shoes I would probably stay away from BSV and BCH. I think it will be better both for your wallet and your.. health  Cheesy Cheesy

Have some considerations first before you convert your ethereum to BSV or BCH. Think of the things that make you invest in ethereum and think of a reason why you will transfer your investment to BSV. If you only think of the reason as converting it because of its sudden pump, well, think again and you might regret that decision in the long run.

I doubt that, ethereum cannot make further price increases because I see their competitors BCH and BSV have very good development and they have a limited supply of coins while many use their platform to make payments so as to increase demand and can make the price very expensive exceeds the price of ethereum which has a very large supply of ethereum which will make it difficult to raise prices.
