It's good to see different opinions on this and there also seems to be some common traits between opinions.  I did also here allot of vibe about the whales trying to force out the weak.

I got a tip for how to look up what the Biggest Bitcoin holders in the world are doing on the blockchain explorer. The deposits in and out of there wallet seem to reflect market swings.

Not sure if I am aloud to put links in my posts yet as still a Newbie?? If I am I will share with you guys so you can look up the explorer and see what I am talking about. (If I am not allowed to put direct link up I am fairly sure you will be able to google it to work it out.) VERY USEFUL

Does this been the long term survival of Bitcoin is in the hands of the big holders?

For me everything is a bubble and the good thing is they can surely bounce back just like any others stocks before. Bitcoin is not different from them in terms of price cycle, I think instead of bubble better to say its just a healthy correction that can help us to go higher in the futue. I am holding my coins no matter what people say, if this is a bubble let it burst and hold until it bounce again.

bitcoin had a lot of bubbles and it will have a lot more in the future, some huge ones and even small ones alike.

but right now i do not think we can call bitcoin a bubble anymore because its price has dropped A LOT. you can not have a 70% drop and still consider the asset a bubble and this is while bitcoin has a big intrinsic value which is a lot higher than current price.

I believe it is a bubble. I do not however believe it is a fraud. The fact is that there is no inherent value in BTC for the time being and that valuations are pure 100% speculation. History has shown us that this never lasts and eventually values fall in line with fundamentals. When this happens and to what degree i have no degree, it is however a certainty.

We aren't the lord to predict the future. But if bitcoin will sooner be gone, what will happen to its investors and negotiators though? they have been taking the risk of trusting their works and money and I guess investors and affiliates is the one who's making it stand to do work, so I guess its only clear that bitcoin isnt like a bubble.

I don't think so. A bubble lasts for few seasons.  After commencement Bitcoin never been died. Beside it's currency value it has strong power for bonding relationship with one another. Bitcoin forum is the vivid example. Has the bubble any power such as this. How I can a forum member invest in bubble.

My opinion bitcoin Not a bubble,Because every month bitcoin always increase and decrease,And if exploded will not immediately rise drastically, for me all need a process
And I believe someday I do not know when bitcoin will surely reach $ 50.000....

The way things panned out since 2011, it seems that bitcoin goes through several bubbles that is being inflated and bursting only to be inflated again at a latter time. Naturally, a bubble is something that goes completely out of hand before being permanently gone for good, but with the way how bitcoin market's move, it seems that this will be a continuous push and pull effort from the bears and the bulls until we reach a point of stability or no volume at all. The use-cases of bitcoin is pretty limited, with investments being the leading reason why people are buying the coin, that's why the price action is pretty much active no matter what the trend is.

Hello community,

I have heard some reports that 'someone' has put $1 million on Bitcoin being $50,000 before the end of 2018 and other conflicting reports that Bitcoin is a bubble that is going to burst. I understand this is very much a time will tell kind of question and some may argue that the press has said bitcoin is  going to burst/fail since it came out but look at it now... and I understand there may be at least a chance it could be worth $1 million in the future.

What I am asking is what are the big Bitcoin holders thoughts on this are they bailing or are they holding for the long hall, if they are holding can 'The Bitcoin Bubble' really still burst?

I have most of my eggs riding in this crazy but attractive world and would really appreciate inside feedback.

Thanks for reading  Shocked Cool Huh Undecided

Yes, i do also think if whales are just playing around with us, baiting the increase movement of bitcoin price for us to invest too. I'm thinking if they are going to pull their bitcoin after it reaches a waiting mark, for example $20000 to $50000, i don't know if im only the one who thinks of this, i also want to here your opinion about this. I also want your opinion what would you do if this is correct.

That was just FUD that had been spread.
Think about it. When the FUD is successful then people will panic and sell resulting to a decrease in value in bitcoin.

Let us put it this way.
If I am a whale and I already sold all my bitcoin to dollar or any other coin. I can somehow use that money to pay others to spread the bad news. Or someone powerful enough for it to look like it is legit.
Then after the decrease in value I can buy back doubling the bitcoin that I will hold.
It is good business.

It looks like the general vibe so far is Bitcoin will rise into a bubble and burst repeatidly before eventually stabilising. The drops will push out the weak and the ling term holders will prevail?

Cool

Does no one think Bitcoin will die at some point and if you do, why?

In my opinion, bitcoin isn't a bubble because last year experts said bitcoin will just pop and will be gone at the end of 2017 but as of today bitcoin is still alive. Why? Because bitcoin is the future, it is where we are going to be. I dont think it will pop and just gone because as long as the community uses it, it will stay alive. As time passes by, there is increasing amount of people who use bitcoin as form of transaction. There are still country who recognize bitcoin as their transaction but it not yet that wide on the country like here in the Philippines. Bitcoin is like a email, as long as the people use it it wont die.

If bitcoin is a currency, then its current function as a means of payment is apparently a failure, and it is hard to imagine using it as a way of payment in everyday life, given the huge fluctuations in exchange rates. We see again that those who do not really understand bitcoin listen to stories and earn huge amounts of wealth by buying bitcoin early on.

I do not think that bitcoin is a bubble, because bubbles will explode at any time, and die in a fast time.

but bitcoin is not like that, as long as bitcoin still has high spread and large volume, bitcoin will last long.

so, in my opinion, bitcoin is crypto currency, and not bubble or ponzi.

patient and waiting is what we should do when bitcoin prices are unstable.

There's not that options for people that like to purchase the coins when they are in their dip then selling it while moving to another coin to invest in. Some people won't have one answer while filling in that poll.

My vote is that we are in a recovery phase. However, there is a slight possibility that we haven’t seen the bottom yet, so if the price were to drop significantly more, you could say that this is still a bubble. I am hopeful that Bitcoin has hit bottom and is gradually increasing so that at some point in the near future, there will be a big breakout in the positive direction.

you are way too late to the bubble party and FUD. it is long over and done with.

price reached $20,000 which was a big bubble then it burst and it was corrected somewhere along the line of 50% drop down to $10,000 but thanks to all the fear and FUD and newbie weak hands it didn't stop there. the drop went on to become one of the biggest dumps in history of bitcoin a -70% drop.... and that was the end of the bubble talk.

now price is on the recovery from that big dump and market is going back to normal levels to reach there and after that start rising.

none of your POLL options is a correct choice by the way.

If the bitcoin bubble bursts, this is what will happen next
Bitcoin looks like it's heading towards a major crash. If it happens, crypto-millionaires will be hit hardest while governments move to regulate the cryptocurrency.

But for me bitcoin will continue for the sucess even some goverments is not in favor of bitcoin.
