Nobody was born with the Bitcoin knowledge, we all learnt from somewhere, so I will advise you seek more knowledge from people that have the experience, before fully going into it. Talking about people losing money on their invest, I think you are getting it the wrong way, the cryptocurrency market is not static, it is just like a flow chat, it waves, it goes up and down, you just have to be patient and keep holding on. I think many people invest in bitcoin because they see and predict the future of bitcoin, I'm also a beginner in bitcoin,

but the cause of people experiencing losses seems to be because, people always panic when prices drop, or by being forced to sell bitcoins because of the necessities of life.

Yes the future of bitcoin in finance are great and it has been doing good for the last few years. Of course in terms of adoption to world use it is.
