No,  because the price of Bitcoin is still $23k showed that we are still in bear season which is the best season for those that missed the opportunity to buy Bitcoin to use this opportunity to buy and hold for the price to increase higher in the market before they can sell to enjoy profit in the market. I don't think the price will decrease to $10k in this year 2022 as many people wish to see before they can buy with huge amount of capital, because the green light is preparing to be fully stable for people that bought  when the price is low to get ready to embrace bullish season in the market.

That's one way to look at it. Some would argue that the bear market is over when the price starts spiking upwards within a short space of time, indicating that the bulls have taken over: and that market upticks does not indicate a change in the general sentiment.

How many markets would you say exists? Is it just bear and bull or there's something in-between?
Cause if it's just bear/bull, and the bear market is over, then we would be in a bull market at the moment.
There is always other market conditions than being either bull or bear. I'd say the markets are not binary. For example I have already referred to the past 2 months as sideways market but there is a small uptrend in it. That doesn't make it exactly a bull market. This is more like the in-between accumulation phase that is filled with a lot of uncertainty and conflicting speculation from different people.

To be precise I describe the current situation like this:
This is a time when majority of market participants have sold as much bitcoins as they wanted to or could sell. They are left with fiat and are out of coins so the price isn't going any lower due to less sell pressure. Ergo the bear market is ended.
People also are not sure if the price could go any lower or is it going to start rising back up again so they decide to wait. Which means there is no buy pressure either to push the price up. Ergo there is no bull market yet.
The smart money (eg. those doing DCA) consider this the bottom or a dip and is buying bitcoin. The day traders are also making small profit from ups and downs. Ergo this is accumulation phase with a small uptrend.

so many people that sold the bottom in the comments, so many that sold and thought btc will hit 10k. wonder what they going to do when btc hits new all-time highs, without reaching 10k.
now it is near 24,000, so it is the time to buy.
If we can only  find the perfect answer then we are all safe but the problem is none of us can make it clear on how it will go either this is the bottom or still lowering in the coming days.

but remember that price will always vary depend on how we will support  the currency.

buy more then you will see strong movement growing and buy less then you will find it bottoming still.

I may have to believe, it seems the bear market is really over basically, I think this is a good opportunity to buy, but I don't know, maybe I'm right or wrong, for sure I see the crypto market is not moving downwards again as expected.

Also I'm a little confused about market speculation some say it's not over yet and some say it's over.

Yeah, price is at much better levels now than several weeks ago when I was more active, and maybe sentiment has somewhat improved but still think we are as deep in uncertainty as we were then.

Price in the short term is a funny thing, sentiment as fickle as the ticker colour.

24k is a good buy in price, but really, in the long term, what isn't?

You can still buy of course but you should be mindful about the price since its quiet expensive now and the price might have a correction along the way so better to wait for that or you can take the risk now and see if the market will continue to pump or not. BTC price is already in a good position, this might be the confirmation that bear has already ended and we are now moving slowly into a new bull market.
No, we're not, what is the basis of saying the bear season is over? Those few pumps are not enough to say that Bullrun is coming, it was just we normally see the market moving up and down. We can just say it was maybe if we are halfway close to the last ATH which apparently is still far from it. We're not over yet and we need not be confident about these pumps.

The bear market it's not over yet, though there's a small resistance from time to time it will create a correction like we experienced so many times.
Bitcoin price doesn't have infinite growth and every time there's a bounceback on the price it will also have a small correction but no doubt in the end it will create an all-time high price.  So I voted No.

You've asked if it's the right time to buy, my answer depends.
I'd rather suggest you buy in a DCA way which is pretty safe for wise investors who are always afraid when the market pump and possibly panic selling.
Holding a long term would be better than worrying every day about the market price.

Just like 2017/2018, when bitcoin reached all-time-time, it falled from $19600 to $3100 in December 2018, such abrupt fall also occured in 2021/2022, bitcoin falled from $69800 to $17500. If history repeats itself, bitcoin may never falled below $17000 before it would reach all-time-time, even if falled below, the price would not be that much lower than $17000 in my opinion.

About buying and holding bitcoin, it is not a wrong time to buy at all, its all-time-time was $69000, it falled to $17500, now at $23800, a very good time to buy. Its all-time-time would be much higher, but it could take a year or more before reaching all-time-time.

No it isn't over imo, i might be completely wrong but i don't think this uptrend will be sustainable for too long since we are still in a bear market, and i prolly expect Bitcoin to drop back low yet again, but for weeks now the price has looked good, though it isn't appreciating like when in a bull market, neither is it going too low either. Having said that, i think we should prolly watch out and see what happens in the next couple of months before we can draw our personal conclusions, but in the meantime i'd rather accumulate than worry too much about the state of the market we're in right now, the price is low and that's crucial.

When Bitcoin reaches the highest price all along then I will sell it of course that is what I want to sell at the highest price but we don't know when it will happen?

I think it's already known that the current price is still good to buy by as much without having to think about bitcoin to 10k that's not necessarily the case, so for me buy now before bitcoin goes higher throughout history.

I think the bear market is still being felt.

Be ready still to sell when the indicators are reaching its peak at certain time frame. Since we are yet not out of the woods, I'm not withdrawing my altcoins to my wallet but just on the exchange because these will be the first that I would let go when its happening. Its all just waiting for now because it seem like outsmarting the market is next to impossible.

We will know the bear market is over only after some time it has ended and the price starts "flying" upwards.
Right now we are in the uncertainty area: the bear market may or may not have ended.
I expect we will know for sure before Christmas.

PS. Your poll is missing "I don't know/I am not sure"
It seems to me that too little time has passed since the beginning of the bearish trend, which means that it is still very early for this to end. According to the established tradition, this period lasts about several years, and less than a year has passed since the end of the bullrun. So, I believe that it is still too early to expect new high performance in the market and I would not like the world economic problems to affect the usual bitcoin cycles. OP will be able to ask his own question, submitted to the title of this topic in about 2 years or so, and then, it will be possible to voice an unambiguous answer.

In my opinion I don't think that it's the right time to ape in hard on altcoins, until bitcoin attain $30k - $35k,before I might reconsider the fact that we are not in bear market. The fact is that no one can predict the bottom, one of the best thing to do is to DCA your trading, don't go hard in buying any coin, there still speculation that bitcoin might hit $10k this year, remember that Mt Gox bitcoin had not been released.. So its better to buy in bit maybe every week or two weeks instead of buying all at once

We didn't come out of the bear market still in the same situation which means the price is still far from ATH before it became throughout history but this we can still buy with a pretty decent but I don't set 10k to be the lowest target because it is very impossible even though there is a possibility.

We could reach all-time highs again but I don't know when but the situation is currently at resistance that still persists but for a bear market there is a possibility that it is still within the scope of the market now.

Bitcoin has hit its new resistance level at 25,000$ and from that moment on we are seeing a correction happening which puts bitcoin between 23,000$ and 24,000$ price range. It means bitcoin doesn't have strength to push above yet, so I don't think the bearish market is over. Correction is so strong right now that bitcoin has already retreated to the same level it was before the last pump which happened days ago. Unfortunatelly there aren't evidences of solid gains for bitcoin when looking the recent fluctuations. Once progressive increasements in price start happening we might glimpse a chance of overcoming this bear market.

It doesn't matter if bitcoin won't hit a new low. It's their problem that they haven't bought bitcoin when it has reached $17k and if it's bound to get into a new ATH, they'll not miss it.

Because they're in between buying or waiting for some more. We're not yet out of the bear market and the bottom ain't that far from the current price that we've got.

The confidence isn't yet there that bear's totally out, still, it's around the corner and anytime the price could go below $20k again.

Is there anyone who can analyze, predict, speculate correctly and accurately without being wrong, of course not, in this crypto world there are two systems that are often used by crypto users in general, except mining.
1. Investment.
2. Trade.

In those two methods, of course people do both, be it for Bitcoin or any other type of crypto, the bottom line: for those who need a bear market to continue to the point where they believe, for example: Bitcoin to $10k, that's for those who invest, others don't believe the bear market is over or it's time to buy, they have their own analysis they believe in.

For those who trade, of course they don't care about the bear market and the fortress market, they need market movement at all times, where to buy and where to sell.

Conclusion: if you really want to do something in the crypto world, do it with your own heart, belief and mind, to make more profit, one can only say, not that it should happen.

watch the bitcoin supply just a little bit left do you think it's worth it if it's worth $10k i think it's tough and people won't dump at that price the bear market will gradually stop until towards the end of this year
