Of course Bitcoin is used for illegal activities. Anything that has a monetary value could be used as a payment for illegitimate deals. Bitcoin just happens to be a digital currency that is very easy to be transferred between people and it leaves almost no visible traces to the original owner so shady people prefer to do business using it.

It can be seen here. Gambling threads, gambling websites. I dont think there is a permit for that. They just open it and make an advertisement that they are open. Then people will come to gamble. That is illegal right?
Depends on the jurisdiction. In theory you should need a licence, ESP if the service is being offered via platform. But with the case of some of these smart contracts, the code would be the house, and I think it would be hard to sue the code. If the code never cashes out the funds, it never realized capital gains, and subsequently has no tax liability. Now that I've typed it out, I guess you are right; essentially offering gambling without a license is illegal. But enforcement in some cases would be almost impossible. Also, while this should be highly illegal, the government is being really cavalier about this at the moment for some reason.

Casinos will lose their income for they pay for taxes but players will be lesser and will just use the online gambling sites. Those who pay I think eill be doing a campaign to stop it for it will be unfair for them.
