I think that most criminals choose Bitcoin for their dirty deeds because they think it is completely anonymous, believes stereotypes, most likely it's just a lack of knowledge. Bitcoin is a pseudo-anonymous, and that helps intelligence agencies to calculate the criminals. Suffice it to read the news of their capture.

Yes bitcoin is used For illegal Activities because Bitcoin is Like Real Money. As we can see that some persons buy drugs and other illegal things with Real money, Then they can Buy these things with Bitcoin because we already Discussed above that Bitcoin is like a Real money, So it can be used For illegal purposes.....

Yup, all currency in circulation is surely used for illegal transactions. because each person doing transactions using cash, so did the bitcoin. Let alone the bitcoin is a currency without a name, it is highly exploited by the bad guys. but beside that, it actually is not bad, even bitcoin bitcoin is much better than other currencies

Any other Currencies is being used to illegal activities, but Bitcoin is highly notable due to its anonymity, it is what you called Freedom, no one controls it, so illegal transactions can also be considered due to this features and circumstances. So the question " Is Bitcoin used for Illegal Activities?" the answer is yes. but on the other side have you asked also if " Bitcoin is being used in Legal and legit activities?" definitely a Yes also.

Just Like, Using a Kitchen knife, Can be used as deadly weapon, but a must have tool in the kitchen. Grin

that's for sure,the media just overreacting because bitcoin is a new thing for them maybe,and they seem want to look deeper into it,even USD being used for illegal activity by some criminals for an age there's no news that saying dollar is the currency of criminals lol

Hi bitcoin110011, yes I've also read a lot about bitcoins being used for illegal activities. Like money laundering and for sure the government will find it hard to regulate it because everybody can use bitcoins and everybody can make their multiple wallets by having multiple accounts. There is one article that I have read saying that bitcoin is illegally used in sports betting because if a person really want to get rich, and he is a player, he can make his team lost so that he will win in sportsbetting.

Probably only a small amount is being used for illegal activities, but you can also say this
for fiat currency. Criminals will use every possibility they have. Only to bad that this put's
a negative image on Bitcoins

thats true, nearly every currency of the world is being used for buying and selling drugs in my opinion because im pretty sure that every country has some drug users for sure

and i dont think that it is an exception with any other crimes too because fiat is also used to do illegal activities just like bitcoin is used, i dont think there are any differences

If people were using bitcoin to participate in illegal activities, then shouldn't it be banned? Maybe this needs to be looked into a little closer! We, as a community, should not participate in a movement that condones illegal behavior such as gambling and watching illicit content. We should also take a stand and fight against those who listen to rock-n-roll, do drugs, and partake in sex outside of religiously sanctified marriages! People should not have the freedom to make their own choices and do whatever they want with their money! It is unnatural!

I think that for some people bitcoin is actually used for crime. I do not deny though that bitcoin conducting easy transactions can be its actual weakness.

That is why the government can't really track the criminals that use bitcoin to buy things You cant really check with Bitcoin what have you bought, thus making it a big problem
