Medium mode of payment globally can be achieved by bitcoin but being the major one, it won't happen. First of all, most of big merchants are using Paypal since fiat currency is used more. Even bitcoin usage will increase to the next following years, most of it's new users will use bitcoin for investment purposes and not as a usual currency.
I do not know what is really better but if I have to look at the fact that the bitcoin can be used everywhere and that it has a good future too I choose the bitcoin.

Yes Paypal is crappy , Paypal will sooner or later ask you to provide information's to confirm your identity if you receive big amounts of cash or from suspicious accounts , and they can limit your account and you lose your money even if you did nothing .
Bitcoin don't need ID,Passport , don't need a specific age , can't get limited and you can receive how much you want and also you won't get your balance chargebacked by the sender , fees are much lower and much more ... Bottom line ? Bitcoin > Paypal .
Now if you are selling your BTC for Paypal , you may want to be caution because you can get scammed so make sure to trade with someone trusted and note that using a Middleman won't really change anything because the other party can still chargeback so it's not really recommended to accept payments on Paypal .

I would choose BItcoin over Paypal any day because of the issue of anonymity present in the latter unlike the former. In as much as this is there Paypal still has this major advantage over Bitcoin because of the issue of being able to reverse transactions and this has protected quite a number of people of being duped of their hard earned resources unlike Bitcoin in which I have personally fallen victim because of this reversibility of transactions and no one to report to.

Paypal is good but you are paying so much fee's with PayPal and its also that you account can get limited.

This is the advantage when we are using bitcoin because we could avoid the high transaction fees on paypal. You are right they are paying taxes too thats why they put up too high fees and in this case bitcoin is far away better than paypal regarding on money transfers.

i only know about bitcoin and have no idea about paypal. paypal may not be so good as compare to bitcoin, because bitcoin is universal present every where while paypal regioal and not a universal and therefore is not present everywhere. as its service is not present in my country.

But for me, bitcoin is better than paypal even though paypal has been established for a lot of years now. And the transaction is really fast and convenient.

in my country paypal is not allowed so I will not talk for paypal for me in every place and in every field bitcoin is better. Paypal is just a useless website for the citizens of my country and we are happy with bitcoin and do not feel the lack of paypal as now we do not need it any more.

Good point of view that Bitcoin is currency and Paypal is money service but i think bitcoin is very beneficial and these both thing are present in bitcoin so we can use bitcoin as currency and we can use bitcoin as money service system because nowadays bitcoin is available acceptable in everywhere in any country .
