Well bitcoin is the same as money actually so do whatever you want with your money. I agree with his point of using paypal as a online paying method though. Not because bitcoin is worse but just because paypal is accepted in more places.

Yes, everything have both pros and the cons. "There is always two sides of the coin." Now, between the bitcoin and paypal. I'd choose bitcoin when it comes to convenience, why? Because it doesn't require any age to start to create an account and earn money unlike in paypal. It requires you to have legal age first to have an account. In addition, bitcoin also don't need bank account to start, user friendly isn't it?

Now, when it comes to businesses and security, I'd prefer PayPal because usually, all of the transactions of the company and other services, PayPal is their mode of payment. Though it requires some requirements that not anyone can afford. The security is there and it is widely used by the Large companies.

For businesses yo are suggestion paypal and you points are great, but there are a lot of companies who are irritated with paypal and they already have faced a lot of issues with paypal, especially they freeze their thousands of dollars, and the other negative point with paypal is that it is not accessible to all parts of the world while bitcoin is available to every corner of the world where internet is available.

People hate bitcoins mostly sellers because buyer can easily chargeback and get their money back. I've seen many sellers on forums as well as on ebay who lost their item as well as money. Paypal give favors in buyers side mostly rather than on seller side I've even seen paypal offers refund on buying item through paypal. So yeah I prefer bitcoins over paypal.

No. Bro Paypal is still better in terms of availability as almost accepted everywhere like credit card. Even ebay encourage people to transact with them using paypal. Anyway Bitcoin has the features to defeat paypal by all means, what it needs is that it have the recognition it deserve then everybody will be using bitcoin instead of paypal.

Personally I like bitcoin better but for me it's still required to have paypal cause bitcoin can't do some things paypal can yet.
But I like bitcoin more cause of the no fees and no trouble with transactions. Sometimes paypal freezes your account so randomly and requires verification which takes ages.

I'm not a PayPal supporter but I have a question can you buy anything from unknown site or seller using bitcoin as a payment with full confidence? But same with PayPal we can buy because they protect buyers in case you don't receive a product. But in bitcoin, we always need to go through with some trusted escrow which may delay the transaction. So both got good and bad, and I use both of them.

Bitcoin is too far away from paypal in terms of fees, transaction time, accesibility and there no hassle on bitcoin compared to paypal. FOr sure paypal would definitely lessens it users in the existence of bitcoin since they would definitely found out their differences on terms and usefulness of bitcoin.

But for that alone feature we cannot leave bitcoin for our transactions and for shopping which is more convenient and is with less fees of transaction and which have a lot of features which paypal is unable to compete with.

Thats the problem it takes a long time before you can get and fully use your paypal but its not a problem about paypal because its more safe to hold money than bitcoin. the good thing that i want for bitcoins are the price is not stable and the price is continues increased.

PayPal offers buyer protection that a lot people may like, but this feature is getting abused heavily which makes sellers lose out.

That's why Bitcoin is a fantastic payment tool as every transaction is final. It gives the seller a great peace of mind.

It was paypal for me wayback, but when bitcoin was introduced to me it all changed. My wife use western union and I am asking here if she wants to just send the money thru bitcoin. Still she says "no" and I just dont forcr her. Someday there will be time that she will be tired of how much she is paying every transaction with WU. Same with paypal. They eat up the amount that is supposed to add up in what you can send.

Bitcoin is really better than paypal have you read or overhear the rumors that the management of paypal is already talking to coinbase management? I guess paypal is losing a lot of customers because of bitcoin. So instead of competition they are just going to try to adopt bitcoins as well but I'm hoping that they are not going to charge high fees again.

No matter how high the fees are, the average joe type of people will continue to use PayPal with all its shortcomings. When these people are used to somethint as PayPal, then it's very difficult to convince them to use a much better alternative such as Bitcoin.
