Bitcoins can be used as a payment method online and few portals use it but there aren't many users who actually use bitcoins just like PayPal. Users mainly pay via debit/credit cards or bank payments and due to fiat being more stable, it's a preferred method rather than bitcoins that are highly unstable.

whether bitcoin is a great form of currency in the digital world is a matter of opinion, but almost everyone including me on this forum will tell you that bitcoin is an amazing form of currency.

OP is asking about websites accepting bitcoin as a payment method. There aren't many that accept bTC and even those who accept are just using it on a trial basis. It's risky to have a volatile payment that can make you go in loss if not exchanged instantly.

I wonder where have you been hiding all this time. There are lots of online store that are accepting Bitcoin as mode of payment. If that isn't enough for you, there are some ONLINE store that solely accept BITCOIN. So it does answer your querry about bitcoin being used as method of payment online. Grin

I think what he means is for merchants like Lazada, Amazon, Ebay. That kind of merchant where you use bitcoin to buy items. What I only know is store that use to buy virtual items like game coins, et.c

yes that is a fact. i can say that we can use bitocin for online payment. there are so many exchange having very good cervices. there you can exchange your bitcoin to any other virtual or flat currency mean USD or EUR etc.

Yes, I am using this regularly I pay my bills online, the fluctuation of price doesnt matter as it automatically computes the value of BTC in your merchants currency, it uses its local currency amount then programmed to convert this into BTC on the existing price.

alteady many people use bitcoin as a payment method for online transactions for buying goods, stuffs, etc. i think it also depends upon your country. if bitcoin is illegal in your country then sadly you cannot find online shops that accept btc for your country.

I don't think bitcoin price ups and down effect it anyway... if a fiat company using bitcoin they simple change bitcoin amount. and if a bitcoin company paying in bitcoin then it doesn't meter for them. because one bitcoin is always one bitcoin for them.

Hi Ryananda well as of now, I know that bitcoins are really used as a method of payment online. We can use bitcoins for shopping I just forgot the site that accepts bitcoins as a payment but it online casinos and dice sites that bitcoins are majorly accepted.I have to admit that your right, the change significant change in the conversion rate of bitcoin will cause significant loss or gains to the ones selling it. So maybe they will set some allowance for it.

Yes it is possible. Today we can buy cellphone load using bitcoins, pay bills here in the Philippines using coins.ph. There are also online seller who sell their products and items such as perfume, cosmetics, soap, bags and accessories on facebook and accept bitcoin as payment. But it is just small scale it is not yet accepted by big companies on the internet bu someday it will happen we just need to wait.

it is already used by several people as an online payment method. the price changing is double edged so it can be for the receiver benefit sometimes. and for small amounts, the normal price movement won't affect the value in short time

well people might argue what is the main purpose of bitcoin because it might be used for a lot of different things actually thus i think that the main point isnt to shop online only

bitcoin surely can be used as a payment method online to be honest but you also might use it in the real life if you shop in the shops that accept bitcoins, i think that its a really great thing

i also agree with you. bitocin can you use for online payment. there are so many exchange of currencies and other transaction companies through whom we can do online payment to some one.
