I think so also, because was not dangerous well it was a decentralized currenciy and government doesnt have access on it. Whats dangerous here is when someone destroy or control the market. To be true, its has a good transaction compare to fiat because it was easy and not a double paying sysytem. It depends on the user if it will going to be dangerous or not at all.

I don't think BTC is safe. Because, it has a good security system now. Transaction system is also good and safe. There isn't any danger in using bitcoin just because it is dependent on internet.

I would like to point out few things
1. Bitcoin is not anonymous anymore one can link back to the transactions address because companies/exchange keep your ID.
2. Yes it is decentralised but its more like monopolised by couple of miners and group of people.
3. Yes this is true monetary policy is Math based.
4. Only hard forks can do.

Of course it is dangerous, it is a good alternative to cash and governments are kind of afraid of it now, but with a time I am sure something will change , either governments will find a way to control or it will evolve in something different.
