Yes it is, I had a bitcoin explode on me. Fortunately, I was wearing leather gloves so I didn’t lose my hands. I still don’t see too good out of one eye though.

And it is ignorance, lack of skills in dealing with high-risk investments that makes crypto-currencies dangerous. The degree of risk is also increased by the fact that ICO, bitcoins and other issues associated with digital tokens are not regulated at all or are regulated by related legislation.

I don't think so, bitcoin is now known as the secured asset of investing, and investors have found eyes on its stability thats why we cant tell if its dangerous. But some sites thats connected with bitcoin is truely a scam thats why some doubt bitcoins security.

No, Bitcoin is not dangerous. I think it needs a bit of time for governments.

Bitcoin is harmless but Bitcoin has good and bad effects for everyone and it's time we set it up Wink

Bitcoin will not be dangerous if you use Bitcoin safely and securely as there are currently many viruses that can infect your computer and this happens every day. The safest way to keep Bitcoin is to buy Tezos or ledger nano s
Just like everything in the world when it is not used legally or used to do illegal things then it becomes dangerous. Bitcoins and the other cryptos become dangerous when it becomes a tool by which people do criminal things. A gun only becomes dangerous when it is in the hands of criminals.

I'm wondering why bitcoin was made if there are too many currencies in each country, why would anyone add or make a type of currency in the internet? For easier and faster transactions or so ?

There’s one big one that worries me about every cryptocurrency: a vulnerability that leads to the collapse of the blockchain. This is something we haven’t seen yet and may never happen to Bitcoin, but I’m convinced that at some point in the next few years, we’re going to see a blockchain vulnerability that compromises the system and brings the value to 0.If a system like Ethereum or Bitcoin experienced an event like this, it would be absolute chaos for the ecosystem because most people don’t believe it’s possible. So even if this event doesn’t happen to Bitcoin in particular, Bitcoin will face the side-effects of this event and would likely lose a lot of value as people would wonder if this would happen to all blockchains. This event is a lose of innocence and, at some point, will hit the market. It’s just a matter of time.

Bitcoin is dangerous if you are not cautious in having privacy on it. Bitcoin must be in secret, the information is must be yours only.

I was nearly stung by a lion fish a few weeks ago in the Maldives.   I paid for that vacation with bitcoin profits.   So yes, bitcoin is indirectly dangerous.

Many countries are afraid of the existence of bitcoin so take safe steps with bitcoin banned, I think the main reason the government is afraid of bitcoin and thinks dangerous is because bitcoin uses decentralized system so it can not be controlled.

It is always dangerous for people who dont know about it. The fear itself is the strongest enemy, my opinion. >_<

Actually in reality of our lives everything is dangerous, when you invest your money to business there is danger if you want to increase your money through gambling there is more danger to that.. same thing to bitcoin YES a big yes its actually more dangerous than putting your money to business..but ofcourse you will never learn how to cope to this danger if you can not even try how is it to be in bitcoin... its just like digging in mining area.it is really dangerous but still there is a lot of people working on it why? because at the very deep of it they going to get golds that can help them to live.

They create or make other currency for global competetiveness. If they dont create they wiuld not upgrade. This might happen for a better transaction and way of working with it. Yet it is risky but it is legal.

Bitcoin is not dangerous, people are dangerous. As Bitcoin is money, there will always people that misuse that money for fraudalent activities or worse. Its to be expected as there is always another side of the coin. It has it's advantages as well as disadvantages. Bitcoin can be dangerous because of it's nature. Bitcoin is money and you know that there will always be people who would do anything to get their hands on it. Scams, phishing sites etc... If you're not careful enough then you're potentially in danger.
