I think not, when the world needs a solution to reduce dependence on a particular currency then bitcoin is the answer, bitcoin is not dangerous because for everyday purposes still needed fiat so that the presence of bitcoin as a complement of fiat.

The way I see it bitcoin and ethereum are the most widely used cryptocurrency by all people that engage in ICO. Bitcoin is used as standard currency in cryptoworld. Governments did not completely banned ICO's and cryptocurrency but only regulate them. In this way, the cryptocurrency market becomes more transparent over time because companies that launched ICO's need to consider legalities before doing the ICO.
