If you're referring to bitcoin’s price surge, Maybe it's just a “bubble”. Just another bizarre episode in the cryptocurrency’s odd saga. This had happened before during its infancy but eventually overcame the stage and ended up being embraced by many supporters. But I think we are not still there yet. The price of Bitcoin is still above when the month of December started.

If in November bitkoin still felt quite good, now he is really rather dead than alive. Its extreme slowness and high transaction costs make it very sick and almost unusable. Let's see if it can be cured with a network of lightning, which should rid the bitcoin of these shortcomings. If this does not happen, people will have to switch to using other types of crypto currency, including bitcoin in cash, which was recently scolded. Therefore, we need bitas of bitcoin, if only to make them compete with the original bitcoin.

Actually i'm a bit surprised to see this question.Because i don't think that by watching today's popularity and price of BITCOIN anyone would ever have a thought that BITCOIN is or would be dead.BITCOIN is only growing bigger day by day.

Oh. I never owned any BCH and all my BTC are sold. BCH is sh1t like all alts. BTC was good until 20 days ago when problems started. I know more than most of you about everything related. I was with btc from the begining. I'm spreding what I think they are real news not fake news. I never wanted anyone financial loss. BTC use technology 10 years old. I want for everyone to remember btc with pleasure. If we don't complain nothing will happen. We all need an update. I knew about the bch launch on exchanges before everyone. I knew about the price drop and everything as well as I know the price will drop more. I have posted here before the sh1t hit the fan but I think nobody accounted my words and nobody must do.

Even if this may seem like a click-bait just to promote your Wordpress Blog to increase its traffic, I still did so. So your traffic had just increase by one visitor. You are welcome.  Grin Anyway, I am happy that another person posted another topic that is pro-Bitcoin. I hate to see and read so many threads and articles that are against Bitcoin. It's as if they have not made a treasure out of it. The soft fork or SegWit was not a threatening move but rather a development to Bitcoin so it was generally a welcome update. The Bitcoin Cash team has always been spreading negative news about Bitcoin. No one is buying it.

Yeah, heard of that I think there are groups who is trying to deface bitcoin or creating bad image and publicity for bitcoin to discourage its investors on bitcoin.

How can you call it dead? 1BTC= $14,486 Ohh it's far from game-over.
Although value is so volatile in a range of $14,000 to $15,500.

Is not volatile. It struggle to keep its value over 10k. This will not stay for long. In the very near future it will drop under 10k / bitcoin. The high transfer fees are a real issue. They can't handle it and they won't handle it. Until DDOS attacks on nodes will stop will be to late for btc. The technology behind has proven weak and not for the future. To implement a global payment system nowadays is almost impossible because everything resume to calculation power we don't have yet. A secure reliable way to handle millions of transactions per second has been yet discovered. Quantic computers may be a temporary solution but still not available for large consumers. It may become available in 100 years but this is not sure. A new technology based on data transfer using light has been under development for many years but still we don't have the tech because is too expensive.

The flaw is when more people step in. The more to come the worse it gets.

Obviously, bitcoins are not dead because Segwit2x was canceled last minute before it was released. I guess sooner or later bitcoins will die because of some major competitor or some giant fork that leaves bitcoins obsolete.
Segwit2x is off again? Not that Segwit2x has been re-implemented, and now Segwit2x has no support at all. It doesn't work at all.

How do you come up that bitcoin is dead??

Bitcoin will never be dead as long as many people are here and continue working and transacting here. Bitcoin will just die if there;s no more people are willing to work here. And come on, look at the price of bitcoin, is that what you call dead?

Ofcourse not.  Bitcoin is alive.
It seems that many people are doing FUD's accusing bitcoin to be nothing in the end which is totally wrong. But, I'm just wondering why some people are listening those statement in fact in we know already how bitcoin it is(strong). We should always be positive and trust bitcoin's capacity the way it take challenge.
