Everything in digital form is hackable, it all depends how difficult it is and if the person/organization who is doing the hack has the skills and the means to make the hack happen.

The weakest part of the system is the area hackers will target, understand what this is in your case, and prepare your defenses.

Many very intellectual people are out there (if they are the greedy one) who can easily hack bitcoin especiqlly with weak security. We cant tell if one of will be the victim of it. Sometimes even the thoughest security can be penetrated so i hope, people with the knowledge will just help rather than to steal. (afterall that knowledge can give them a lot of profit if they use it in right way)

Now everyone is investing heavily on Bitcoin. But can anyone hack this Bitakayena? If Bitcoin means hacks, then there will be a lot of damage. Where is Bitcoin's hidden security?
Bitcoin is unrealistic to crack. If only you collect 51% of all bitcoin in your wallet, then all bitcoiners will be ruined Smiley but I think this will not happen in the near future.

As you may already know, Bitcoins are blockchains which work on distributed network. Now, just suppose that I am a hacker and I want to perform a ‘man-in-the-middle’ attack while sender A is transferring BTC to receiver B.

Can I do it? Yes.

But will it be valid? No.
Why? - Because BTCs also include something called as ‘Hash’. If I try to change any part of the BTC in the middle, the hash value will chain and when this chain will be validated against all the distributed network across the ledgers, it will simply pop-up as irregular and henceforth discarded. What it means is that a single computer will be fighting against all the computers on the network if they want to make the transaction valid and transfer the BTC to attacker’s account.[1]

BTCs go through the complete check every single time a new transaction is made and verifies the validity of the block against other nodes.

Everything can be Hackable which is online based and Bitcoin is no exception to this. But it depends on us how to secure our wallet from being hacked!
Yes, I agree it all depends on how we secure your wallet. If our security is not tight the purse strings certainly easy to compromised by hackers.

I think if it was hackable we wouldn't have such a huge amount of bitcoins stuck and impossible to retrieve Cry

Yes Its Possible to hack bitcoin but that depends whether the attacker is trying to hack directly or indirectly. If someone tries to hack a bitcoin wallet directly they can try to brute force to the private key and that can take a super computer 3years constant trying(and no one is going to keep their money in a address for 3 year). But if someone tried to attack from indirect method then they can spy on your devices so it will be your fault to let them access your device.

of course, we know that bitcoin is decentralized right now, so no one can access your account, you can only access it because you are the only person holding your private key, it can only be blocked if you are negligent in private you key and maybe if you send it you do not know

Waiting for quantum computers, it will be interesting to watch battle between cryptotechnologies.
Nowadays the one and only way is to hack wallet information.

of course can not because if bitcoin can be broken then bitcoin will not be as expensive as this, most people just forget the encryption password that is given from blockchain to access their wallet.

everything is hackable so it is the same with bitcoin. Just recall the memories on MtGox, then recently fraud with KOrean exchanges. The point is that anything with internet connection is vulnerable. People need to understand that the smartest thing in crypto is to invest amount that can be lost. Risks are evident in cryptocurrency trading.
Bitcoin is available on internet because it’s a digital currency and hackers also using internet for hacking but I’m quite sure that nothing will happen to bitcoin because bitcoin know how to fight against all kind of forks and challenges in past bitcoin defeat a lot of challenges and now we can see that how bitcoin is secure so bitcoin is very strong in market and I know it will become more strong than ever and its price will go more high.

Bitcoin itself not. But wallets (addresses) and private keys are. All be it very difficult and energy consuming (you can use gpu pool to contribute to wallet hacking lol).

I think as of now Bitcoin itself cannot be hacked due to advance security and protection they are using. But any Bitcoin wallet account is hackable and that's we need to secure and protect.
