There are often misunderstandings about the theft and security loopholes that occur in different trading platforms and businesses. Although these are unfortunate events, they do not represent that Bitcoin has been hacked, nor does it represent internal defects in Bitcoin, just as bank robbery does not jeopardize the currency itself. But to be precise, it does require a good set of strategies and intuitive security solutions to enable users to better protect their funds and reduce the general risk of theft and loss. In the past few years, such security features have grown rapidly, such as wallet encryption, offline wallets and multi-signature transactions.

The protocols and cryptographic rules used by Bitcoin are still effective after many years of development. This is a good sign that the design of this concept is very good. However, during the execution of various software, security vulnerabilities have also been discovered and corrected. Like other forms of software, Bitcoin software's security depends on the speed with which problems are discovered and fixed. The more problems you find, the more bitcoin becomes mature.

Bitcoin can never be hacked, no on could ever crack their algorithm….

Only thing that should be feared are exchanges. They are prone to hacks…. Hackers hack the exchanges and steal user private keys….. and then they transfer bitcoins to their own wallet. Bitcoin itself is unhackable. There has never been any incident in the 9 year history of bitcoin that it has been hacked. Smiley

Now everyone is investing heavily on Bitcoin. But can anyone hack this Bitakayena? If Bitcoin means hacks, then there will be a lot of damage. Where is Bitcoin's hidden security?
For me, bitcoin is not hackable but your online wallet can be hack. Bitcoin is only a cryptocurrency, or a money. Although bitcoin is very complex thing, today everything can be possible.

I dont not think bitcoin is hackable perhaps we can prevent this hacking activity by choosing a trusted wallet to store our bitcoin and make a strong password.

I really doubt bitcoins will be hackable but it is possible to hack the blockchain. But it will take a lot of horsepower to hack the blockchain. That's the only thing hackable about bitcoins. The blockchain however is very hard to hack. The security of bitcoins really depend on blockchain.

Yes it's a big possibility because bitcoin is stored in the internet and we all know that our private keys are system generated and there are still people working in the network that can easily access our security codes, just my thoughts.

Hacking bitcoin through forks is very expensive and very difficult so even though bitcoin can be by passed, it will cost so much time, effort and money. This won't pay off and will not be efficient nor practical to mess with. Bitcoin has great security system so don't worry about your coins. Just be careful if someone is fishing information to you so everything will be safe and sound.

It can be hacked but for that person who can download the full list of directories.Io and look up the address on that list. Although it can not be downloaded because it requires a large database that can not be owned by anyone on this Earth. You use an online wallet, use a strong password and enable 2fa and all security features to improve your security.

Bitcoin is very vulnerable to hackers. Whatever security we give to Bitcoin but hackers could have a gap to break into the Bitcoin we have. Hackers are so smart they always have many ways to commit crimes. It's so hard we all avoid hackers. But most importantly we all have to be really careful about anything that concerns Bitcoin.

I think Bitcoin Hacking is not easy. Because, bitcoin security is much better.

It is really hard, but in the past it is not that great. If you do not know, Bitcoin was hacked in the past and those people made a lot of Bitcoins but we do not need to worry since it is fixed for a long time now. Now it is close from being the most secure digital currency, I am saying this since it is not that really hackable, but there are still the possibilities, maybe some ones percent.

Bitcoin cannot be hacked, its the bitcoin wallet who is hackable if you do not take care of your private key of your wallet. But dont worry, there are so many ways to prevent being hack by hackers. First is hide your private key into a safe where you have only access and make a 2fa authentication.

bitcoin can not be systemally retarded but it can happen when someone's account authority is not properly maintained, meaning that if someone can not keep their username / password safely it will not close the possibility that he BTC can be lost stolen by others
add my previous opinion, that as we all know that the blockchain system used bitcoin is very tight where in each transaction there must be confirmation of some blocks first, then the transaction can happen so it is very difficult to hack the blockchain system bitcoin

It seems that there have been many cases of bitcoin token theft. Either from the mistake of the owner or a wallet system error. Perhaps what is needed is the improvement of the security system and the careful in using the wallet.

The issue of security has been a fundamental one for bitcoin since its development. On one hand, bitcoin itself is very difficult to hack, and that is largely due to the blockchain technology

I think it is possible to hack bitcoin if your not careful in your account and you show your bitcoin publicly theres a huge chance that someone might hack your account but there are instances that if your wallet address might go down and lost all your bitcoin on it

Yes Its Possible to hack bitcoin but that depends whether the attacker is trying to hack directly or indirectly. If someone tries to hack a bitcoin wallet directly they can try to brute force to the private key and that can take a super computer 3years constant trying(and no one is going to keep their money in a address for 3 year).

I don't think hackers can crack bitcoins. Before that, several important missing bitcoin events were caused by users' negligence or other vulnerabilities, not technological reasons.
