Transaction fee and speed may be a major problem, but I don't think that cost per coin is a major issue. Because every Bitcoin is divisible by 100 million. This is an advantage which the other fiat currencies such as the United States Dollar and the Japanese Yen lack. So even if the price of Bitcoin increases to $100,000 per coin, it is not going to affect its usage.

until they sort the fees i don't know how this can happen. I would love it too but realistically how can it replace a 5p visa fee with instant payments with the system it has.
