I would like to add some points if you guys don’t mind. BTC cannot become the world currency until or unless there is internet in whole world. Second to that, BTC was designed for big transactions; it must be introduced in our daily life small payments. At last the transaction fees must be cheap when the second point converts into reality.

Some of work has been done on second point and I hope other requirements will also be treated soon. Bitcoins is simply beauty!

Realistically I don't' think bitcoin will be the one and only world currency, but rather one of many different currencies that people can choose to use.

It is possible that bitcoin is become a new value of currency in the internet but we can't say that it is not. Bitcoin is a dynamic it may undergo changes and development to make it better. We should not expect that this will be the new value of currency in the internet.

Most of us agreed that this bitcoin or cryptocurrencies are the new era of currency. Its virtual currency that we can own and used to buy in online transactions. This is the way of the future, and we are in the earliest era of it.We are lucky enough that we witness it in our time IMHO.

Yes, we can not know exactly what the bitcoin is waiting for in the future. But if it will also develop rapidly, then soon we will get a very strong currency, which will become a strong competitor to the National currency of all countries

I don't think anymore it will compete with the national currency, that's a very ambitious prediction in the future and I don't think it will ever happen.
Bitcoin is already a success and one of the reasons why it's price is surging now is because it has already caught the attention of the potential big investors and when we see those big investors will touch bitcoin we are easily attracted to follow them because we are confident their chance of success is big.

Bitcoin is the new currency you may now use it to buy a lot of things online and with latest global trend very soon Bitcoin will dominates the financial world.

That is not going to happen soon, bitcoin is going to slowly gain ground against fiat then people will realize the great advantages of bitcoin and there is going to be an amazing growth but even then there is going to be a place for fiat in the financial world.

It is tre that bitcoin has a criteria to become the new era of currency. First it is considered as global currency, imagine many of countries now are adapting bitcoin system and some nations they legalized bitcoin to their own country as their currency such as Japan, China, India will be legalize also soon.

Exactly! Bitcoin is like a father digital coin and most of trades are happening alt vs BTC and as long as it stays the biggest coin I am very happy. Nobody knows what exactly would happen if another alt coin surpasses bitcoin and how that would affect mentality around crypto currencies and exchanges and everything.

Of course there will always be many different crypto currencies on the market. Just as different countries with different political / economical interests have their own fiat currency, the same way there are different alt coins with different agendas and technologies behind them. Which makes place for a diversity and uniqueness of every currency and project behind them!

It's really fun and I don't really want one coin to cover everything. Competition is good and it is not all just about bitcoin. So crypto currencies are the new era of currency, yes! And I want to see bitcoin stay no.1 crypto for many years to come Cool
