It wouldn't be impossible for bitcoin's recent price spikes to be the result of a bubble. However, I think that there has been quite a bit of support in the span of 2017 and the money flowing intho crypto markets has allowed for support that crypto hasn't observed again. So even if selling pressure begun the newly found demand would hold up on for support at a recently reached level.

The strong support is what's pushing it forward right now and I think it will carry on into 2018, but that support can dwindle very fast. It's when the new investors stop pouring in that the price will begin to stagnate and then fall. A lot of people will get scared and then start to panic and that's what can set the wheels in motion for a bubble I think. Bitcoin will bounce back though as it always does but a lot of these newbies investing right now will soon panic and vanish if the going gets tough.

It is not just a big bubble. Is quite a movement and we are still in early stages of adoption. However there is a risk, and this is why you should be diversified. Never have all your money in only one investment.

Regardless of the possibility that bitcoin is a bubble, I think it is difficult for someone of the real bitcoiners who have remained in this community for many years despite the disbelief of many, may feel disappointed or frustrated before an eventual crash in the value of bitcoin, because those who would really be affected would be the greedy speculators who are arriving at the last minute animated by the digital gold fever, willing to pawn up their shirts in order to get into "the trending business".

And they really deserve bankruptcy.

Sure, it will burst out in 2140.

yes! the same thoughts.everyone who is saying that bitcoin is a bubble - just pass by, risk is not for you. i dont know what will going on with BTC next several years, but i guess we all , guys, will make some money. How big money - difficult to say. But i better will hold the part of  my savings in BTC and other TOP cryptocurrency, than in the bank.

What i think? That this post is a huge crap, this question has already been asked more than 100000 times in here, it is always the same.

There has been a lot of speculation of bitcoin being a big bubble ready to burst, what are your thoughts about it

And what are your thoughts? Is i see that you are posting everyday, dont you see that there is always the same thread on the same discussion everyday?

It has already been discussed, a lot of people think that bitcoin is a huge bubble, and a lot of people are saying that it is not, and that the price is only going up because of mass adoption.

No one knows, if you really think that you are risking your money, then dont invest, and that is it.

There's a lot of fud going around and a lot of it is coming from naysayers who are butthurt they missed out on the bitcoin boom. However, that's not to say bitcoin isn't going to be a bubble, but as the above guy said, it depends on how you define a bubble. If bitcoin falls in value dramatically for whatever reason then people will say the bubble burst and feel pretty smug with themselves. However, of course it could keep going up and up but I don't think that can last forever and if you look at bitcoin's history it is full of many up and downs and I'm sure both of those things will happen again in the near future.

Depends on what your definition of a bubble is and about how big this crash will be. If you think it is pushed up too high then yes it is in a bubble but I don't expect a severe crash and for bitcoin to be worth 1k in a few weeks. I expect bitcoin to be worth probably still 10k if a crash happens and that would be quite big for most who recently got into crypto. Overall yes but not the the way the media projects it imo.
