I will take the smartphone as a parable, for example smartphone with the brand of Apple is the most widely used smartphone by the residents. Later, another smartphone emerged that offers more features than the apple smartphone and the price is half the price of apple smartphones . But this is not so much affect on smara tphone sales because people who put quality is still more than people who only see the features and low prices. As with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, it's just a matter of trust not just brands.

I don't think that it will matter in long term. After 50 years no one will care that Bitcoin is 6 years older than Ethereum.

Bitcoin is more decentralized
Yes, Bitcoin doesn't have a dev team or some kind of a single leader, who can easily manipulate the price. But again, that's just only matter of time. Also in other hand on, everything leads to the fact that in the future bitcoin may be centralized in the hands of huge mining farms and mining pools.

Bitcoin is just an application of the blockchain technology in the currency area, and it's similar to the bitcoin cash/lite currency. In addition, the blockchain can be used in many other neighborhoods for information transfer/record/encryption, such as identity/power/property/contract/reputation/logistics, etc.

It's just that bitcoin is known to the public.

Bitcoin isn't a brand, bitcoin is just digital assets or digital currency but don't had physical form like fiat currency and aside that it's just a great investment source the price is so fluctuative, it's a virtual coin.but it's becoming more and more popular with no doubt. Presumably it is truly so. Bitcoin was the main winged animal and the request on this coin remains high as a result of individuals truly trust it is the best coin, however you are absolutely right, other than the cost bitcoin has not favorable circumstances, there are numerous different coins which are quicker, more brilliant et cetera. Do you all feel that one day individuals will understand that bitcoin's opportunity passed and move to another coin? I think it is really conceivable, however while whales focused on bitcoin we won't perceive any enormous change.

I don't think its just a brand but I would say it's a great investment source which is old and trustworthy.Though its alternatives are much faster and has more features as compared to bitcoin but you have to keep in mind that when it was invented and how many people have invested in it and for them any drastic change would effect.

Yes it’s valid argument even I thought about that but one more thing is that people always like original form of any things even it has huge value . Bitcoin is oldest and original form of crypto currency first blockchain technology, peer to peer network and decentralised database . So it’s having value people still valuing crypto currency based on bitcoin value.

People only want to make more money and bitcoin currently offers exactly that, and relatively reliably as well, since major players have started to enter the bitcoin market as well. That is enough reason for your average person to invest in bitcoin.
