Yes it is! If you can see the chart in the market bitcoin is at lead always due to its very big price and others consider it as king of crypto. So for me, no one replace it to the no. 1 rank.

I agree with this dude's comment. Bitcoin is the pioneer. It will be really hard for other coins to surpass the king.

Yes, I think maybe bitcoin will not lead cryptocurrency forever because in the future there will be plenty of Altcoin for a good price. I do not know that they will be as good as bitcoin but now the world is getting digital and anything can happen. I still believe in bitcoin and I hope Bitcoin will dominate.

For now, its no doubt that bitcoin lead the crypto currency market. Our technology now is upgrading fast, so as what i think, its possible that bitcoin will have competitor in the future. If that competitor is created then bitcoin might not be the lead as its now. But i think that they cant create altcoin that will replace bitcoin, because im sure that if they will create another coin then it will be also created based on the characteristics of bitcoin.

i'm not sure bitcoin will still lead in the arena of cryptocurrency in the future
especially if the Lightning Network implementation fails then i'm sure bitcoin will not lead in the future
bitcoin requires lightning network in order to become P2P payment system which become the weakness of bitcoin at this time

I cannot say that the world forever last because we all gonna die in the end and we cannot know if in that poin bitcoins is still the leading cryptocurrency that are here in the world. Or maybe the question is if still the bitcoins are existing maybe in the future there qill be no more cryptocurrency at all and they might invested something new. So as long as the bitcoins are hwre are being on the top maximizes the chance that they can give you easy profits

As of now it is evident that bitcoin is dominating the whole cryptocurrency industry. It has been the number one coin in the market for a very long time and it shows no signs of stopping despite the price decreases it has been receiving this year. However, this does not mean that bitcoin would be the number one coin forever. As there are a lot of uncertainties in this industry.

I somehow feel like the dominance of ETH will one day takeover. And if it becomes stranger that what it may seem like that XRP will be used by banks, some of those altcoins might not have the chance to be noticed anymore. More than hundred of tokens are already moving in and out that needs eth as gas which will asks more ETH for transactions later on.

As we observed since from previous years no one from all altcoins bit bitcoin in terms of price and popularity that make it as a leader of all cryptocurrencies with high legacy. I think when cryptos last forever I believe that still bitcoin will also take the leads of all cryptocurrencies in terms of valuable aspects.

Bitcoin total market or value is at 52 billion us dollar. and of course that means that it is the leading currency among all the cryptocurrencies (based on cryptomarketcap) to reach this kind of feat a cryptocurrency must be invested by millions of people who have at least 100 dollars or even more
so the thing is it is difficult to surpass bitcoin, if ever it will be surpassed then it will take many years. when i say many years i mean more than 10 years
and one more thing, bitcoin is sooo popular or i must say most popular coin and the first cryptocurrency ever.

NO especially if there is someone who will compete bitcoin and make another digital currency that will look like also on bitcoin system. Then the investors will be torn into half or even the whole investors will transfer to another digital currency investment if it is good kind of digital currency. Well I believe also that there is no forever but there is together. We should wait and see what will happen to bitcoin in the near future.

Bitcoin focuses on its use as a currency / payment method and focuses on decentralization / scaling while others have other features such as Smart Contracts, personal / coin equivalent and high coins
