Bitcoin- in bullish time
March 15, 2018, 12:35:18 AM
From my point of view money means you could spend the value to buy something and then currency have the value too but it couldn't spend in anywhere like money. But some of us see bitcoin as an electronic money because it receive by the shop or seller. But anyway money or currency it just from the point of view.
There is not much difference in between money and currency and that you can term bitcoin anything which you want. It is because of the reason that this will hardly make any difference as you will then be able to make some very good amount of earning as well as you will be able to make use of bitcoin to get the things which you want to have in your life by using your bitcoin then. I think you can call it both money as well as currency.
I agree that there is no difference between the term of money and a currency because a currency is a money and a money is a currency, they are both spendable and you can have a money and you can call it as a currency too. Bitcoin is just an asset and it is not a currency or money because it is not going to be spendable unless there is a lot of markets that will adopt bitcoin.

There's no difference between money and currency.

Bitcoin may be the best form of money we have ever used. Bitcoin has been adopted as currency.
But now it's different, bitcoin is now adopted as investment not a money nor currency and also a store value.

Money most of the time in this generation has been governed by a centralized power, Bitcoin is the decentralized form of money we have, which is more convenient and easy to remit, To answer your question it is both currency and money.
As for me, I will go with your idea. Bitcoin is both currency and money. The only thing is we cannot have it as a tangible thing. But it serves the same purpose as with money. It is also a currency since it is a system of money also. Only it is not used by a certain country. But it is widely used in this community.

Uuhm… 😳😕I would say that Bitcoin is not money and not even currency, though we do call it crypto-currency, but there are still difference. Originally, I might just call it money, same as every other things that can be used in buying and selling, example gold and silver.

But some people will tell you that Bitcoin is not money, even from the definition of money you can tell that – a current medium in the form of coins or banknotes. That definition didn’t mention gold, silver and the rest of them, cause they are all stocks.

Maybe Bitcoin is what you want it to be. Different people see Bitcoin differently depending on how they utilise the cryptocurrency. If you are paying for things in Bitcoin, you are using it as money. If you see it as a store of value that can beat inflation, you probably see it as an asset class similar to gold and so on.The bottom line is wether bitcoin is money or currency the important is we need bitcoin in our life.
We have to constantly run the money to protect our money against inflation, so if we use Bitcoin when we get Bitcoin, we will not make any effort against inflation. So Bitcoin can lose value in the market.

it's hafl of money and half of currency
It was a currency at time of its development and invented as money by inventors. But later on, people made it an asset. It is now more likely to be an asset than money or currency. So few people would be threw who treat it like a payment method, money. Maximum are saving them, investing and trading in bitcoins so that maximum profits can be earned. And this makes bitcoins an asset.

at the moment btc is not either a currency nor a money because it is used and treated as an asset where operates as a gold of crypto market and every alts price is backed by it.
I agree on what you said about Bitcoin being used and/or treated like an asset. However, as of the moment, Bitcoin could not be considered to be money, but a currency for the reason that it is used as a mode of payment in different platforms. It circulates as a medium of exchange.

For me both. Money is the universal name of a money or so called currency while currency has specific name of money in their county.
Bitcoin has no permanent address if what country it goes belong so it could be called currency or money

Money has a value
Currency has a value
Bitcoin has a value
=both!

neither because of the high transaction fee, I believe it will be a hindrance for BTC to become currency/money.it be can consider as a commodity or an asset that can be traded because of the demand on it
