I dont think it will ever gonna be over but it will definitely ruin the altcoin market and ICO's which are running or getting started now. The SEC and Chinese Government are still giving harsh statements and its creating a panic in the community.

But just compare the price from October last year, the one's who have recently invested are the one whose getting hammered.

And for the fact that the price of bitcoin is down doe not mean that it is over. This is just normal situation of prices due to the law of demand and supply. The only thing that is certain is that bitcoin and altcoin are volatile and can rapidly change in price. If an item or service is in short supply, people will pay more for it; if there’s an abundance, the price will fall.

The important thing is the public interest regarding bitcoin and other crypto currencies if some time bitcoin price down it does not mean that the currency is no more useful but there are so many factors involved in this regard that's why we should not lose hope as we have seen the price rise of bitcoin and now we will see the price fall of bitcoin but as you can look at the future so bitcoin will survive in the future.

Bitcoin price is getting down just like ski slop!
Is bitcoin over? do you think bitcoin will recover their price?
I'm afraid, I lost my everything almost 2million....

Bitcoin is not dead my friend. I believe it will recover in the next months. There are just some issues and policies arise that affect bitcoins price. Let say for example, the issues regarding facebook and instagram banning bitcoin, the countries that ban bitcoin also. But that doesn't mean that bitcoin will not recover. Just think positive and keep holding your bitcoin.

Hey, don't think like that because in the first place you invest on bitcoin because you believe on its technology and not just to make money. It takes time to go up again but it will happen, and make good profit for you. Stop worrying because cryptocurrency is the technology that will guide us to a better nation. Bitcoin will survive no matter what!

It is too early to talk about a total decline, I think that it is still necessary to lower more but it will rise again in a short time, it is a matter of restarting.

the price of bitcoin has dropped dramatically, but the price is still + - $ 8k I think the bitcoin price is still high, the decline is due to bad news to bitcoin, many countries want bitcoin crushed, but I think it will not, now bitcoin is very strong for the digital currency, we just need to be patient maybe a few months ahead, maybe there will be a bitcoin price surprises this year

No bitcoin will not return to its initial price, this is only temporary and I'm sure bitcoin will be white in price in March, and all you have to do is be patient and wait or better yet you can add more invest in buying bitcoin for now, and you will get a big advantage when bitcoin later back up the price.

Many countries are avoiding the cryptocurrency but not banned so peoples are not understand the exact news then all are sell the cryptocurrency it affected in the market. Some peoples are panic in this situation so they are exchange the Bitcoin to other altcoins. Bitcoin is decentralised cryptocurrency it is controlled in government so market is fluctuating never stop this situation in government. We only protect ourself so just hold your Bitcoin again it will pump in future.

I think its not over yet i know that bitcoin will increase its value.Maybe because of some countries had banned the bitcoon. But for now although it is risky you can invest now as long as the price is low. Believe and have patience bitcoin will increase its value because some countries are still using bitcoin in their transacstion

Bitcoin's not over yet my friend. Though it's plunging right now, it's still not over for it. I can imagine traders would buy it still on its lowest price, then trade it for alts in an exchange. Soon enough it'll be stable at a certain price, then rockets up, just like its last big dip. Just wait for it, you'll still make a profit for sure.

Today's bitcoin drop is very different, I see this year's decline is very severe. many people are speculating about bitcoin, bitcoin dying, dead bitcoin, and bitcoin have become bad.

that's just the perception of some people, but I see this is a normal thing, because the cause of this year's decline with the previous year is also different. and bitcoin will not end until the vision is reached.

so, you do not be afraid and do not worry, all will come back good again.
I hope that you aren't just posting for the signature campaign..
The price is nothing right now, just invest in something else in the meantime.

Dont sell your hold bitcoin, you will suffer for losses, just keep in holding and believed that bitcoin will recover its value. Also we are on 1st quarter its too early to say bitcoin was already over. Hoping that this coming chinese new year many people will buy bitcoin as their lucky charm for the year. The is a big chance to increase the demand for this year.

Bitcoin scared people away... when it reached 18-20k USD, it was more than unusable, it was a real joke, you had to pay nearly 20$ to get your transaction and receive it within 6 hours, Bitcoin also has no short term scaling solution and the only hope is the Lightning Network which is really an obscure thing that really no one can tell if it will work or not.

Lets stop saying that Bitcoin is the #1 coin, there's plenty of much better alternatives. We need to focus on those alternatives if we want to attract merchants and not scare them away which is what was happening.

I don't think so. It's going to survive this time but may not near the success of 2017 anytime soon.

Government interference is heavy on it and this will slow it down.

It's too early for it to be over. Adoption isnt even mainstream yet. Be worried if 100% of the population is using it and yet the value is still dropping. That means something is wrong. Right now, there are a few people who are using it. The few cant simply assign value for it. I know it sounds like im talking about it like it's a pyramid scheme but what im talking about is, unlike a pyramid scheme, we dont know what bitcoin could be yet. It's simply too early to tell and thus too early to assign value to it. You'll be seeing the prices spike and drop. That's just it correcting its value.

Wow 2million, you put that huge amount in crypto currency? and now you are afraid to lost all you have in crypto and before that i think you know how risky investing in crypto right. And you did not follow the golden rule which is invest the amount of money that you only afford to lose.
